Repeated intro
Hello! This is Happy Slugs, the development team behind Kill The Clock.
What changed
- Gameplay
It’s hard to believe that 2025 has already come to an end. We hope this year has been a happy one for you, and that Kill The Clock was able to bring you some small moments of enjoyment along the way. With that, we’d like to share our final devlog of the year.
1. Chapter 3 Progress
Programming
In-game script implementation (60%) 🆕
Script Work
Dialogue and direction writing (99%) 🆕
Art Resources
Investigation items & background images (99%) 🆕
Translation Work
In-house English translation (80%) 🆕
Japanese translation (outsourced) (70%) 🆕
Chinese translation (outsourced) (80%) 🆕
Programming for Chapter 3 is progressing smoothly. All planned art resources, CGs, and scripts have been completed, but small additions and adjustments are still being made to better match the actual in-game presentation.
As mentioned in our previous devlog, once the programming phase is complete, the remaining tasks will also reach 100% completion together. We’d also like to note that, to avoid duplication and ensure only finalized scripts are translated, the remaining translation work will continue after programming is finished.
2. Planned Development for January 2026
Continue implementing Chapter 3 scripts into the game
Review additional or revised scripts and art resources
Complete all translation work
In January, development will continue with a strong focus on programming, much like this month. We’ll keep working hard to bring you the next chapter as soon as possible.
Thank you so much for all the love and support you’ve shown Kill The Clock throughout the year. We wish you all a healthy and happy New Year in 2026.
As always, thank you! — Happy Slugs 🐌
