Have you been waiting for the November devlog? We’re one day late this time, but here’s the latest update!
1. Chapter 3 Progress
Script Work
Actual dialogue and direction writing (98%) 🆕
Programming
In-game script implementation (10%) 🆕
Art Resources
Investigation items & background images (98%)
Translation Work
English translation (60%) 🆕
Japanese translation (outsourced) (60%) 🆕
Chinese translation (outsourced) (60%) 🆕
The overall Chapter 3 script is now nearly complete, and we’ve begun implementing it into the game. We spent some time reviewing and revising key story sections to improve consistency and logic, so we haven’t been able to devote much time to programming yet.
Since new or revised lines may still be added during implementation, we plan to mark the script progress as 100% once the integration work is fully done. The same applies to art resources, whose progress rate will remain frozen until the final implementation.
Formatting the scripts for translation took longer than expected, but if everything goes smoothly, all translations should be completed within December. However, since the English version is translated in-house, it may take a bit longer for cross-checking and proofreading.
2. Plans for December
Continue implementing Chapter 3 scripts into the game
Review additional/revised scripts and art resources
Complete all translation work
The release schedule for Chapter 3 will largely depend on how much programming progress we make this month. We’ll continue working hard to bring you the next chapter as soon as possible.
It’s hard to believe there’s only one month left in the year! We wish you a healthy and happy end of 2025, and we’ll see you again in the next devlog.
Thank you as always! — Happy Slugs 🐌
