Who operates Changelog.gg
KORDU LTD. Company number: 16836154. Registered office: First Floor Office, 3 Hornton Place, London, United Kingdom, W8 4LZ. Registered in England and Wales. ICO Registration: 00014202653.
These terms apply when you access Changelog.gg, create an account, connect Steam or Discord, install or configure Discord alerts, use public feeds or APIs, use the dashboard, contact support, or buy a paid plan where billing is enabled.
What Changelog.gg is
Changelog.gg is an informational update-tracking service for public game-update intelligence. We track patch notes, Steam announcements, public developer posts, driver updates, source links, timestamps, and evidence so communities can understand what changed.
We may cache, normalise, classify, summarise, timestamp, and link to public update data. Source links and original publisher pages are authoritative; Changelog.gg may be incomplete, delayed, duplicated, misclassified, unavailable, or wrong.
If AI-assisted summaries or classifications are introduced, they are convenience output only. Source links and visible evidence remain authoritative.
No affiliation
Changelog.gg is not affiliated with Valve, Steam, Riot, Epic, Discord, publishers, developers, or tracked games unless a page explicitly says so.
Game names, platform names, publisher names, trademarks, logos, screenshots, patch notes, and source material belong to their respective owners. They are used for identification, attribution, and provenance only.
Accounts and Discord access
You are responsible for keeping account access, Discord workspace access, Discord bot configuration, and API keys under your control. You must only connect Discord servers, channels, roles, routes, and billing surfaces that you are authorised to manage.
If you connect Discord, you authorize us to use Discord OAuth and bot permissions needed to identify your account, list servers you can manage where permitted, read selected server, channel, role, route, command, and entitlement data, and send update alerts to configured destinations.
Server administrators can remove the bot or revoke permissions in Discord. Changelog.gg cannot override Discord permission hierarchy, server settings, platform limits, payment enforcement, or third-party account controls.
Acceptable use
The Acceptable Use Policy is part of these terms. You must not misuse Changelog.gg, overload scraping or API routes, bypass limits, attack credentials, interfere with webhooks or Discord delivery, submit false notices, remove source attribution, misrepresent affiliation, or use the service to infringe rights.
We may rate-limit, throttle, suspend, terminate, remove routes, revoke API keys, block traffic, disable Discord delivery, reject source requests, or remove material where needed to protect users, source owners, legal rights, third-party platform compliance, billing integrity, or service reliability.
Billing, cancellation, and refunds
Paid features may be sold through Stripe checkout, Stripe customer portal flows, Discord-native purchase flows, or another billing route shown in the product. Prices, billing period, included limits, renewal terms, cancellation controls, and refund information must be shown before purchase.
You can cancel a paid plan through the billing surface that sold it, through Discord for Discord-native purchases, or by contacting support. UK consumers may have a 14 days cancellation period for distance sales, subject to statutory exceptions and any express request for immediate supply of digital content or digital services.
Your statutory consumer rights are not limited by these terms. If billing, cancellation, refund, or plan-limit wording shown at checkout is more specific, that wording also forms part of the contract for that purchase.
Third-party services
Changelog.gg depends on providers and sources including Cloudflare, Discord, Stripe where billing is enabled, Sentry, Steam, game publishers, Riot, Epic, GitHub, npm, Roblox, RSS feeds, and status pages. Their own terms, platform rules, availability, rate limits, removals, and enforcement decisions may apply.
We are not responsible for third-party platforms, source websites, source content, Discord outages, payment processor failures, publisher changes, upstream removals, rate limits, or independent provider decisions.
No warranties and source accuracy
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Changelog.gg is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not promise that update detection, parsing, summaries, feeds, search, dashboards, API routes, Discord delivery, billing integrations, source trails, or evidence will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, complete, accurate, or error-free.
Do not rely on Changelog.gg as the only source for emergency, safety, legal, financial, trading, moderation, or operational decisions. Verify important decisions against the original source link.
Your responsibility and indemnity
You are responsible for your use of Changelog.gg, including Discord destinations, API use, copied material, source-owner interactions, account settings, billing actions, and compliance with laws and platform rules that apply to you.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless KORDU LTD from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of the service, breach of these terms, unlawful configuration, infringement, false notice, false affiliation claim, or violation of a third-party platform rule.
Termination and liability
We may suspend or terminate access where needed to protect the service, users, source owners, legal rights, third-party platform compliance, payment integrity, or operational reliability.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, deliberate misconduct, statutory consumer rights, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KORDU LTD is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, consequential, or business losses, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data, loss of goodwill, service interruption, source delay, or substitute service costs.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for all claims relating to the affected service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for that service in the 12 months before the claim or GBP 100.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms where needed for product, legal, security, billing, source, or platform-policy reasons. Material changes will be reflected by the last-updated date or through a reasonable product notice where appropriate.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except where consumer law gives you mandatory rights in another place.
