addedHappy New Year everyone,
addedAs we head into the new year, I wanted to share an important update about the direction of Crypts of Carith and the team behind it.
addedI’m very happy to announce that a new artist, Pedro Morán , has joined the project and is lending his incredible skills to the world of Aurelith . As part of this step forward, we’ll be removing all AI-generated character portraits and replacing them with fully hand-crafted artwork created specifically for the game.
changedThe AI portraits were always intended as a temporary solution during early development, allowing me to quickly establish tone and test ideas while resources were limited. Thanks to a small amount of newly secured funding, I’m now able to bring Pedro on board and move toward artwork that better reflects the care, personality, and craftsmanship going into the rest of the game.
addedOver time, existing portraits will be reworked and replaced, and new characters will be introduced with original, artist-created designs from the start. This will be a gradual process, but one that brings greater consistency, character, and identity to the world of Aurelith .
addedThank you all for your continued support and for following the project into the new year. I’m looking forward to sharing more as development continues — including previews of the new portraits as they’re completed.
