Hi all,

Today I'm sharing the second part of my Chapel Cellar Demo playthrough series.

This section is a little shorter than the first, focusing on an interactive narrative event that can quickly escalate into combat depending on how the encounter unfolds.

One of my goals for Crypts of Carith is to make exploration, narrative, and combat feel connected rather than existing as completely separate systems. Encounters like this are intended to help bring the dungeon to life and make the player's decisions feel meaningful.

One of the things I am currently working on is the ability to Listen at doors, which if successful will give you the option to ready for combat and prevent, or decrease the chance of an ambush.

The Chapel Cellar Demo continues to be my primary focus, and I'm hoping to have it ready for players in the next month or two.

I'd love to hear your thoughts as development continues.

Thanks for following along.
