Crypts Of Carith changes
I’m excited to share that EverMoore Studios will be attending the Get into Games Festival: Birmingham (UK) on 31 January 2026 at the Midlands Arts Centre.
What is it?
Get into Games is a free careers event aimed at anyone interested in taking their first steps into the UK games industry. It features over 20 industry stalls, talks from games professionals, entry-level workshops, 1-to-1 career chats, and areas to play games from local indie developers.
I’ll be there throughout the day meeting aspiring developers, chatting about Crypts of Carith, and talking about what it’s like to build an indie game — from idea to playable content. If you’re coming along, please say hello!
Whether you’re exploring game careers, curious about indie dev, or just want to connect, this is a great opportunity to meet people in the industry and share ideas.
Will Crypts of Carith be playable?
I’m putting together a special slice of Crypts of Carith for the event, showcasing the current state of the dungeon crawling and combat systems. I’m calling it the “Chapel Cellar Demo” (creative, eh?).
The layout is built — now it needs filling with all the nice things everyone expects from a blobber.
It all looks a little empty right now, but the plan is to have it packed with puzzles, traps, and nasties by the end of next week.
Looking forward to seeing some of you in Birmingham!
