Sky Link 2 changes
Welcome to November!
Halloween was incredible! Now we get to give our thanks, and I'd like to give a huge shout out to all of the playtesters that have been in and joined us in this incredible experience. Thank you all for your feedback, your time, and all the fun we've had!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Throughout November Odisi has been working on our roadmap for Chaos, which includes destructable world elements and a new game mode that we've been testing internally. It's also been a ton of fun! In this new mode you have to hold an item for a timer and then bring it in for a touch down. I'm excited for this to get added in, so keep your eyes peeled for this one! We've been playing in Skirmish and the UI needs an update to include this before we'll see it in the testing environment.
Modular weapons have also been testing pretty heavily, and having individual load outs will certainly increase the immersion!
BUG FIXES
In the party system, the issue with the messages being sent half written has been fixed! You can now start a message, play a bit, and complete the message at your leisure!
Invisibility for the radar system has had a change put in, and now the enemies' radar will not see you while you're invisible!
When your drone crashed into a wall there was an issue causing respawn to occur in a default location. This has been fixed, so you now appear within a range of where you were last seen.
A crash that has occurred when a player suddenly disconnected has been patched, no more huge issues for a single disconnect.
One more huge shout out to the devs here at Odisi. Great work through October, tons of fixes and I'm so excited to see what's to come!
ROADMAP
Chaos testing is expected to continue through November, and we should see modular weapons soon too. The back end has been setup and we've been testing having different weapons and abilities on different drones and it's working fantastic. Once it's setup and built into the UI we'll have every playtester try this out as well. Customized loadouts and destructible elements are coming soon, so stay tuned!
Our incredible maps have been worked on for the new top secret mode we discussed, and a game mode has been set up for it. Testing has gone great, and it's a fun alternative to the standard mode. The UI is not setup for this yet, though it's an exciting addition to our roadmap.
PLAYTESTS
During our Friday event we do beta testing; checking balance in game while learning to master the finer mechanics of flight. Sky Link: Freefire is difficult to master, though truly easy to pick up and just play.
Last Friday’s playtest was shared on Youtube live, and can be viewed here:

We get together every Friday at 1 PM PST and Saturdays at 4:30 PM PST. It’d be awesome if you could stop by and check it out with us!
