changedA New DirectionWe've been slowly hinting at this in the last few updates, though today I want to 100% confirm it and answer all the questions I've been getting. We're doing something to take Sky Link in a slightly different direction. I'm excited to show it off too. We're experimenting with large maps and it really makes for a fun game. This map is large enough for your biggest and most epic of battles. This map is setup with five different cities, each one is huge, and they form a ring around the hidden and buried Center Arena.
changedThe Hidden VaultsWhile experimenting in this map, you would never believe what I found. Flying around, having a good 'ol time, I found Center Arena hidden in the depths under the actual Big Map! This was so exciting! Familiar ground you can really take advantage of!
fixedFIXESMany issues reported in the latest playtests have been fixed, starting with the ability to leave a map through a small hole in Center Arena. These were quickly remedied, to the dismay of some of our testers!
changedFIXESOther fixes this quarter include the scorecard overlap issue. There had been an issue as you loaded into the match, a timer would display a set of overlapping numbers. This has been worked on and a fix has been put in. The scoreboard's timer will now show properly as the game loads into the match.
fixedFIXESMany other fixes have gone in to have a more stable game. One issue in Deathmatch was declaring the incorrect team the winner. We've seen this one in playtesting and I'm excited our devs have marked this one resolved.
addedNew TeammatesThere's a lot going on behind the scenes, too much to mention it all. We've brought on a few new people. There's going to be a lot more in the next update as well, as we're going to pace ourselves and do quarterly updates through out 2025. So stay tuned as you won't believe what happens next!

Welcome!

Hello and thank you for following Sky Link's epic journey.

A New Direction

We've been slowly hinting at this in the last few updates, though today I want to 100% confirm it and answer all the questions I've been getting.

The Hidden Vaults

While experimenting in this map, you would never believe what I found. Flying around, having a good 'ol time, I found Center Arena hidden in the depths under the actual Big Map! This was so exciting! Familiar ground you can really take advantage of!

FIXES

Many issues reported in the latest playtests have been fixed, starting with the ability to leave a map through a small hole in Center Arena. These were quickly remedied, to the dismay of some of our testers!

Other fixes this quarter include the scorecard overlap issue. There had been an issue as you loaded into the match, a timer would display a set of overlapping numbers. This has been worked on and a fix has been put in. The scoreboard's timer will now show properly as the game loads into the match.

Many other fixes have gone in to have a more stable game. One issue in Deathmatch was declaring the incorrect team the winner. We've seen this one in playtesting and I'm excited our devs have marked this one resolved.

New Teammates

There's a lot going on behind the scenes, too much to mention it all. We've brought on a few new people. There's going to be a lot more in the next update as well, as we're going to pace ourselves and do quarterly updates through out 2025. So stay tuned as you won't believe what happens next!

PLAYTESTS

During our Saturday event we do beta testing; checking balance in game while learning to master the finer mechanics of flight. Sky Link: Freefire is difficult to master, though truly easy to pick up and just play.

Last Saturday's playtest was shared on Youtube live, and can be viewed here: https://youtube.com/live/E5s-D1To5X4

We get together every Saturday at 6 PM PST. It’d be awesome if you could stop by and check out Sky Link with us!
