Linear Calamity changes
The Game is Mostly Complete!
Yet, it's not.
I basically have everything ready to simply slap the ending in there and call the game finished.
I've been waiting a while to do that but anyways.
I'll just list everything I've added to the game.
New Features
Angels
Now angels will spawn on limbo after level one.
Good luck getting to limbo though.
Angels will take pure souls ONLY and this will kinda increase your character's purity slightly.
You'll need multiple angels and pure souls to do this.
The Which can get souls from you.
The witch may appear after you get influenced by her, if she appears, she is able to get souls you're carrying, you can refuse, but she won't really like that.
Pumpkins and Jack o' Lanterns
I know it's not halloween but it was too easy not to add them to the game.
You may find pumpkins as the main source of food in purgatory.
Jack o' Lanterns are created by using a ritual candle on a pumpkin, they're really useful in decks dark.
Brains
Whenever you're tainted, you may get brains from looting corpses.
Brains can be eaten when impure, crafted into gray matter salad with pepper slices or transformed into linked brains.
Linked Brains
Allows you to teleport to a zombie, swapping places when doing this. It makes you tainted so don't spam this a lot.
It's crafted with a ritual candle and a brain.
Pig Eel Fish
Fishing with bell pepper as bait, you may get a pig eel fish that allows you to actually find smells, each smell type is assigned a random color when doing so.
Purity Reflects on Player
Whenever you get impure, corrupted or save/corrupt souls, your purity value changes, reflecting visually on you.
Ritual Candles
You may force capture a soul with a ritual candle, this massively decreases their purity.
Flying Dragon Fish
New balance changes, now it is actually risky to use.
The Monster
Rewritten smell sense almost entirely.
Now the monster may cheat slightly more on higher difficulties.
Also some new accessories to souls.
Bug Fixes! (there's a lot)
This time I actually wrote all of the fixes I did.
Some baits were not listed as 'weak' baits, thus not getting fishes or squids.
Bone Candle would not work as expected when creating a vessel
Vessel 'barks' not being translated fixed.
Fixed multiple bugs with the way corruption interacts with food.
Some food checks not properly working
Soap now actually does what intended.
Smell of Fear rate adjusted.
Shadows being much slower than they should be.
Glasses now properly adjust your zoom.
