Patch 2.9.0 Bug Apocalypse

First half of all the bug fixes I'm currently working on. There was so much, I'm splitting it into two separate patches, but the most critical bugs have been fixed.

  • S-key should now function for Raz

  • SwordOfElysium description now correctly states it hits all enemies instead of just one.

  • Fixed erroneous warning error for one of V-Cannon’s skills

  • Adjusted position of crate on first screen that could make collecting an item difficult.

  • Fixed V-Troopers sometimes being able to kill themselves by shooting you.

  • Fixed broken throw mechanics on Alto

  • Fixed button priority issue on Alto robot puzzle

  • Added additional puzzle solutions to Alto robot puzzle

  • Added cutscene demonstrating danger of bombs

  • Removed exploding barrels

  • Fixed issue with being able to jump over transfer tiles

  • V-Shield abnormal pose fixed

  • More lenient window to jump on V-Shield’s…v-shield and disarm them

  • Fixed erroneous pathing in Stratus that would lead to dummied out area

★★★Digital Playground★★★

  • Fixed scroll ugliness with initial Gelly

  • Fixed getting immediately shot in the face when opening a certain treasure chest.

  • Shop would break if used after buying everything.

  • Added Biscuits and MadouriteBits to shop. Infinite supply.

  • Fixed Sonics being able to kill themselves by shooting you.

  • Fixed ProudRoar’s description; makes it clear that Maylee is buffed afterwards.

  • Made Neklaws shut the fuck up on the map

  • Fixed visual error with final orb in 3rd Hall

  • Fixed special stage disabling ability to turn in place

  • Changed graphic of orb to a torch for bramble bush puzzle

  • Corrected LongRifle action prompt to state the proper buttons

  • Fixed issue with certain skills gaining an element, giving unrelated skills that same element, causing unintended behavior.

  • Fixed mirror orientations to make more logical sense in 3rd hall.

  • Nerfed Payday. Too stronk.

  • Restora2 buffed

  • Cooldown added to TacReload

  • Fixed Maylee countering 100% of the time, even without CounterFang

  • Renamed CounterFang to WildFang

  • Fixed Edge rematch using the wrong troop ID

  • Fixed Maylee using grounded sprites after cutting up the dance floor with Solomon if she was flying

  • Increased mana awarded for dancing with Solomon (except for Ruby)

  • Fixed issue in 1st floor hidden room caused by exiting and reloading

  • Added shortcuts in 2nd and 4th halls

  • Fixed tile error with flame soldier in 2nd hall

  • Fixed softlock in 3rd hall if you attempt to jump to the first orb

★★★Arizal Mode★★★

  • Fixed softlock when choosing rewards after having 12 abilities

  • Nerfed Maylee

  • Fixed bug where barriers on map didn’t spawn properly

  • Fixed graphical error when using ShutUp on Regulators

★★★General★★★

  • Able to select menu options in battle with actor’s action button in addition to just using the “confirm” button.

  • LargeMulligans now correctly heal 300 HP.

  • GoddessTears now correctly clear negative states

  • New animations added for when afflicted with BadLuck, Lucky! and Disharmony states

  • Disharmony state now changes mana gauges to appear broken

★★★Known Bugs To Be Fixed In The Other Half★★★

  • Holding left at the start of the special stage can cause unintended behavior

  • Hugging walls in the special stage can cause softlocks

  • Party members ejected from battle via Edge's super are able to become visible under some circumstances.

  • Solomon accomplishments are bugged

  • Maylee's warning about Edge's super is able to play even when Edge is dead.

  • Avenger state able to proc for two characters if simultaneous deaths occur

  • Enemy hitboxes and projectiles need adjustments
