addedCosmetics updateWe are happy to announce that the premium items are here, so hop on the game, check out the new sets, weapon skins, and accessories! As always, we want to empashize that paid items do not, and will not ever provide any stat or other benefits, they are purely cosmetics. These are just the first items, we plan to add more choices gradually, but that doesn't mean we will neglect the normal currency items. We aim to keep a healthy balance between both categories. Therefore we've also added a new set and some new accessories to the in-game shop.
changedBalance changesWe have adjusted some weapons as well, to make them more balanced and fun to play (against).
addedBalance changesFirst victim was Energy Blade. It's jump attack is a good and unique tool that we want to keep, but in the current state, it's way too spammable, and annoying. To keep the attack viable, we've increased the recovery duration for the jump attack, but to not make it too restrictive, we've added the ability to dodge and attack during recovery, but you cannot jump again, or dash. It was also too easy to hit and chain dash attacks, so we've reduced the speed and range of the dash, and also increased the knockback from heavy attack, so the enemy flies out of reach.
addedBalance changesNext one is Rocket Fists. It is a good weapon, but had some overly restrictive moves that we looked at. Jump attack and right click attack both had too long recovery duration, so we made those quicker, and easier to chain, and also added the ability to dodge during recovery.
changedBalance changesThere are some other smaller balance changes, for full list, please check the Patch Notes .
fixedBot updateWith this update, we've added a new difficulty options for bots: Auto. It is the default option for quickplay, and also for custom rooms, with the ability to change it to fixed difficulties.

Balance changes

We have adjusted some weapons as well, to make them more balanced and fun to play (against).

First victim was Energy Blade. Bot update

With this update, we've added a new difficulty options for bots: Auto. It is the default option for quickplay, and also for custom rooms, with the ability to change it to fixed difficulties.

With auto difficulty, bot difficulties will be adjusted to match each player's level. For now it's pretty rudimentary, it only considers player level. Low level players will get easy bots, then it gets harder as the players reach higher levels.

We have also changed the bots behaviour and difficulty scaling. Easy bots will get a bit easier, focus less on objectives, and be a lot worse with melees. Even harder bots will have longer reaction times, and make more mistakes.

Future

The game is still in the early state and it needs a lot more features and content. We plan to focus on that, not just cosmetics. As of late, we have experimented with some weapons and skills, got good feedback about them, so we will be focusing on bringing them to the live game, as well as making adjustments on the experimental Chaser and Payload game modes.
