General changes
Added new, premium items to the shop
Added new, non-premium items to the shop
Added the ability to buy premium currency (called Crystal Core), using secure Steam Wallet transaction
All experimental weapons now have "Experimental: " in their name
When spectating a match, auto spectate is now turned on by default. You can turn it off with the space key
"Reset" voiceline has now different lines considering if the player has the ball or not
When previewing a different character in lobby, weapons disabled by lobby rulesets are updated correctly
Fixed an issue where the player could not log in, if they had too many items
Attacks and other animations can no longer be interrupted by skills (like throwing a grenade)
Player killing themselves with an environmental damage (like exploding barrel) will no longer result in a takedown announcement
Reduced the overall motion blur amount
Updated the currency icon
Reduced the network bandwidth when replicating a lot of bullets
Added Rooftop to practice mode
Weapons, Skills, Balance
All explosives on maps now have damage falloff
Pipe on Austral
Duration increased from 3s to 4s
Damage per tick decreased from 10 to 7
Range decreased by 50%
Can now be properly damaged by AOE damage (like grenade)
Shotgun
Removed the delay from the shoot sound
Removed the delay from the shoot animation, it now shoots instantly
Energy blade
Dash hitbox duration (the time where it can detect enemies hit) has been reduced from 0.8s to 0.4s
Dash speed and distance has been reduced
Knockback distance has been increased
Jump attack animation has increased from 1.3s to 2s. It can be cancelled early with a heavy attack, or a dodge.
Jump attack hitbox has been decreased. It can now be jumped over in some cases
We've also reduced the hitbox, and increased the animation duration for the jump attack, but added the ability to be able to dodge out of it, roughly at the same timing as it was before.
Energy blade has been dominating the game lately, not for the good reasons. With these changes, we want to ensure that just holding right click, you cannot chain it infinitely, thanks to increased knockback distance, and reduced dash distance. We've also reduced the duration where it registers hits, so it will now be harder to do the full 3 tick of damage from dash, if you do it from afar.
Heavy Wrench
Right click impact hitbox has been reduced from 1.5m to 1m
Rocket Fists
Jump attack and Right click attack can now be interrupted quicker with another attack, or a dodge
Fixed a bug where players could jump attack after getting hit with a Fists right click attack
Players can now dodge out after getting hit by Fist right click attack, and it will execute a liberation dodge (with no additional SP cost)
Power Katana
Getting interrupted during an attack will now properly stop the movement too - it used to slide forward with no animation
Bots
Added a new difficulty option to room settings: Auto. This will automatically set each bot's difficulty to match each player's level. This setting will now be the default for quickplay and custom rooms, but owners can change it to a fixed difficulty.
We've also reworked the behaviour of the bots on many levels. Easy bots should be easier now, bots should use melees now a lot worse, have longer reaction times, and make more mistakes on all difficulty levels.
Bots also are not that focused on scoring on lower levels, so you should not see bots just running past cross-eyed defenders in an easy match anymore.
Fixed an issue where Defenders on Team A would go outside of their base to a random position
Fixed bots not be able to reset the ball on Crossways, and just standing still
Fixed bots not be able to reset the ball on Tunnels, and just standing still near the energy wall
Easy bots no longer shake their mouse violently, while roughly keeping the same accuracy
Added new community bots
Experimental
Energy ball
It now has proper kill feed icon
Shuriken
Fixed a bug where if you die while it's flying, it would keep spining on your dead body
Changed the animation so the shuriken flies out quicker, and can execute another action sooner
Bow
Fixed various bugs with the skill
Charge, skill duration, remaining arrow count is now shown on the crosshair
Skill cooldown increased from 8s to 12s
Skill arrow damage reduced from 60% to 50%
Using skill no longer uses zoomed mouse sensitivity
Plasma Cannon
Explosions now have damage falloff, depending on the distance from the explosion epicenter to the damaged player
Uzi
Reload duration decreased from 3.3s to 3s
Reload event is moved to a later time (the time when you can cancel and still have the reload completed)
Shield Weapon
Basic attacks come out faster, move faster, and can be chained faster
Hitting an enemy with basic attack will now stop the movement (similar to Katana) instead of sliding off them
Increased hitboxes for basic attacks
Increased hitbox for heavy attack
Chaser game mode
Fixed target marker not disappearing after target death in some cases
Fixed target marker not disappearing after Chaser has died, or left the match
Fixed an issue where spectators would see the game in FPS during the first round
Own score is not shown if player is spectator
Incinerator TD map
It has now its own icon
