Hi Wildarians! The Pre Alpha is now in the most stable and fun state it has ever been in. I have been weekly playtests with a QA tester and have fixed over +70 bugs in the last month!

Hi Wildarians!

The Pre Alpha is now in the most stable and fun state it has ever been in. I have been weekly playtests with a QA tester and have fixed over +70 bugs in the last month!

Here is the whole list of changes in this update:

  • New Custom Font!

  • Added Level up popups for pet and player

  • Added damage numbers that flow upward for players and pets in Red

  • Prevent scrolling hotbar unless hovering on it in menus

  • Added Healing number pop ups

  • Fixed Pets not leveling up!

  • Zoomed out screen 25%

  • Made the WorldObject Pool Manager persist between scenes to reduce load times on Destroy and Instantiate objs

  • Created an Effect Pool Manager and added the Particle Lights for XP Particles to the manager to improve xp spawning performance

  • UI OVERHAUL - added pixel art to sliders, dropdowns, and checkboxes, remade potion manabar art in smaller res, Redesigned the main master ui panel in a closer resolution to the rest of the ui with some accents

  • Made tame mini game more challenging my increasing the speed of the creature icon, changed how it scales

  • Bubble Lasso - Added arrows the the pet icon to show which direction is is moving, started adding bubble particles to indicate capturing or losing

  • Fixed projectiles to be mouse perfect!

  • Implemented mountain object pooling/unloading to fix the object doubling and performance drop. This fixed duplicating objects that cause huge performance issues

  • Made map markers and player arrow constant size!

  • Animated Spacefudge Logo

  • Changed Default screen mode to Max Windowed

  • fixed town gen bug

  • made dungeons actually spawn

  • Fixed the Map marker placer for slayer quests

  • slowed sleep point healing

  • removed ability to stop attacking while attacking for enemy AI

  • Fixed Pets and Enemies not attacking when approaching their target

  • Fixed rain in houses

  • Fixed Tilemapobjspawner mountain bug

  • added can not afford notification

  • Fixed item amount doubling and incorrect prices on items

  • Fixed map marker resizing when hover and hover zoom

  • Fixed POi marking NPCs in houses by moving method from POImanager to map marker manager

  • added delay to load room

  • adjusted mounted pet starting location in overworld

  • prevent eating food while UI open

  • potentially fixed some merchant buying food bug

  • added projectile follow on tail of staff attacks

  • fixed defense bug that may be breaking loading

  • fixed infinite health glitch

  • fixed swamp cache invis hitbox

  • Fixed goat name

  • Added Popup Signs to Arena - round 1, round 2 and winner!

  • fixed Black Kelp and udnerwater objects on main menu

  • fixed Resurface double up under pet abilties

  • Improved XP Particle Performance fully with the effect pools

  • Fixed infinite money glitch when opening merchant manager > closing > then reopening

  • Added Red text if you cant afford item in shop

  • Fixed player sliding on charge attack

  • Fixed Pets not able to swap when swapping items

  • Fixed selling armor or item in hand to update armor sprite or equipped item sprite

  • Fixed iron helm sprite

  • Fixed double defense stat

  • Hide dialogue box when sell manager is open

  • fixed pets not following when stuck aggroing enemy (now if you walk away they will follow eventually

  • fixed pets getting stuck in void outside room walls

  • Fixed Enemys/pets losing aggro when using a special attack

  • Fixed skipping intro blocking buttons

  • fixed being able to ride pets after putting points into taming

  • Changed the damage numbers for enemies to be white and yellow

  • Added pet level up SFX

  • Fixed Hotbar not scrolling bug

  • Fixed the defense stat not applying on load

  • fixed player teleporting way below bed

  • Made mouse above confirmation for sleep

  • Added total Defense and Attack to Inventory menu

  • Fixed Quality of Life Bugs!

  • Fixed some UI attacking issues

  • fixed some menu interaction bugs

  • Fixed Color on Def + DPS Stats
