Today's the day!
Over a year ago, Julia and I founded our own small indie studio. We've been working on When We Arrive for more than 8 months now and we're finally releasing in Early Access! We're incredibly exhausted, but also overjoyed that we've made it this far. We hope you have just as much fun playing it as we had developing it!
What to expect in Early Access
When We Arrive is a cooperative roguelite for 1 to 4 players. You travel together through a dangerous fantasy world, not to defeat a final boss, but simply to get as far as you can. The journey is the goal.
In the current version you'll find the Forest biome with many handcrafted landscapes, enemies you don't fight but instead avoid, outsmart, or run away from screaming. Collect over 200 items and look forward to wonderful encounters with the inhabitants of our fantasy world!
What's coming next
We have big plans. Early Access is the beginning, not the destination. Multiple new biomes, new classes, more events and NPCs, and some things we're not ready to reveal yet. A more detailed post with everything we have planned is coming soon.
We need your feedback
When We Arrive is an Early Access game and we mean that seriously. Tell us what works, what's annoying, what you felt was missing. In the comments, in the discussions, on Discord, wherever. We read every piece of feedback and a lot of it goes directly into the game. We're doing this together.
