Participation in the "IGROPROM 2026" contest brought us a lot of real-time feedback, which allowed us to work extremely productively. Many mechanics have been polished, new small details have been implemented, and some systems have been completely rewritten.

But most importantly - we're saying goodbye forever to the "Uses AI" checkbox, because today's update replaces the last two tracks we made with it with live, professional performances by a music group.

Visual Changes

  • Minor UI tweaks: hiding unnecessary elements and highlighting key moments with animation

  • VFX for the temporary speed booster's active duration

  • The story scroll has been moved into 3D space

  • Added animations for illustrations

  • Locations refinedremoved hard-to-navigate spots, filled empty spaces

Audio

  • Fixed track behaviorremoved overlapping when transitioning between stages
  • Reduced the "bass" on the power-up collect sound

  • Fixed the issue of sound playing multiple times when hovering over a stat card

  • Debut of the narrator's voice - now he greets everyone in the opening scene before the game

  • Voiceover comes in 5 variations. One is chosen randomly at the start of the scene (you can restart the comic to listen to all of them)

  • More than 50 additional narrator lines are in the works for implementation into gameplay. Soon they will accompany the hero on their journey

  • Added a new composition to the main menu, though not in its final form yet

Settings

  • Redesigned settings menu (and this isn't the final version either)

  • More granular settings: Master, Sound, Music, and Voice

Technical & Gameplay Fixes

  • Fixed save bugs and the "New Game" / "Continue" buttons in the menu

  • The upgrade window now opens after building if the "auto-open" checkbox was activated

  • Resource and well (heal) indicators appear more frequently

  • Added a timer for the "invincibility" skill duration

The update is already available in the demo version.

Thank you for sticking with us and helping make "Sadko" better. Your feedback helps us catch details like these.
