changedI've been having a lot of trouble maintaining enthusiasm and discipline with Punji over the past two months due to burnout and having to balance a lot of personal and other work stuff with it.
addedThe original plan was to dedicate the next update to creating the first campaign, but somewhere along the way, I ended up swerving into making an "operation" mission, which is closer to the current type of content in game (endless, open-ended, etc.) and wouldn't add anything too new. Operation Red Forest (the mission I started to make instead) will certainly be a good addition at some point in Punji's future, but it pushes everything away from the main roadmap that leads to multiplayer later this year.
addedThe next update (U7) will be a small content push, adding new weapons and toys, just to give you all something new to play with in the meantime, but Update 8 will include the first full campaign, which will be a chronological set of linear missions. I'll share an announcement on it when I have things planned out.
changedThe game is slowly gaining back the momentum that was lost during Version 2's development, and we just hit over 500 members on the Discord , so that's all very cool to see. This is a [ very ] long-term project and there's only me working on it, so I appreciate all of your continued support and patience. This should be an exciting year for Punji, so stay tuned and keep your eyes on the treeline!

To ensure the train keeps on chugging, I'll be taking the next week or two off from development.
I'll still be active on Discord and in the forums, noting down any suggestions and bug reports, but actual development won't be happening throughout my break.

Since the last update at the start of the year, I've been working on the game fairly regularly, but I haven't made much progress at all, and I'm not too satisfied with the progress that has been made, but what's worse is that the content I've been working on is not heading in the right direction.

So!
The first few days after my break will be spent on reeling everything in and narrowing down a solid plan for the campaign--a plan that will keep everything on track this time.
