They can escape just like before, but now you will receive a detrimental effect if they do. You can release the rope with right-click and reattach a rope to the net with E while holding the net launcher in your hand. If you break the line of sight (for example, behind a wall) for more than 5 seconds, the rope will break. Changes

  • Enemies:

    • Statue:

      • It now has a victim list. If a player looks at Statue, it adds them to its list. Therefore, if you have never looked at Statue, even out of the corner of your eye, you don't have to worry if you hear it: it will never come after you!

      • Additionally, it now has a cooldown of between 10 and 20 seconds after killing a player during which it cannot move.

      • If it follows you for more than 30 seconds (20 in singleplayer), it will stay still for 10 to 20 seconds before chasing you again.

    • Turtle:

      • New patrolling method and improvements to the investigation system.

      • New animations.

      • New attack (PullForce): If you are far from the turtle while it chases you, it will levitate and start rotating on itself, generating a force field that will pull you towards it.

    • Whisper:

      • New patrolling method and new animations.

      • Now, when it is near you, it first prepares to jump and after 2 seconds launches directly at your head. If it touches you, it has the same effect as before, but if you dodge it, it returns to the attack.

      • It no longer remembers the last seen position of the player. As soon as you leave its cone of vision, Whisper goes back to patrolling.

      • Upon killing a player, it will undergo mitosis and another distinct Whisper will spawn!

    • Nimbus:

      • New mechanic: If lightning strikes it or you try to stun it (with the electric net or anything else), it will charge with electricity and deal more damage both with its acid rain and to the nets.

  • Ship:

    • Simplification: There is no longer a need to press buttons to close or open doors, it is now done automatically. Due to this, the ship is no longer a 100% safe place and enemies will be able to enter whenever they want.

    • Now items in the ship's Storage area and in the Ark's selling area cannot break.

  • Inventory:

    • Now items you wear on your head do not count as an inventory slot. You can carry 5 pocket items + 1 item on your head.

  • Stamina System:

    • Now, when you run out of stamina, you have to wait 5 mandatory seconds to be able to run again.

  • Graphics:

    • UI:

      • Inventory icons now have other colors that are more pleasing to the eye in dark environments.

      • Items with recharges (like the net launcher) better show their cooldown progress.

      • The stamina bar no longer has a white background, it is now a semi-transparent dark blue.

      • Now on the save game selection screen, its information is displayed (Current level, day, money...)

Balancing

  • The base biomass quota and scaling are much higher.

  • The base time to explore any map has been reduced from 15 min to 10 min.

  • Maps:

    • Warehouse:

      • More enemies spawn and faster in an unlimited way. But now it has a maximum of simultaneous enemies.

      • Increased the number of artifacts to spawn.

      • Reduced cost per minute: 100 credits/min -> 50 credits/min

    • Mansion:

      • More enemies spawn and faster in an unlimited way. But now it has a maximum of simultaneous enemies.

      • Increased the number of artifacts to spawn.

  • Enemies:

    • Statue:

      • It can no longer be catched.

      • Reduced its spawn probability in Warehouse.
