# 🔧 Nion Forge – Patch 0.5.9
Hello dear community,
the last demo update was about a month ago. Since then, we’ve spent a lot of time on optimizations and localization. Now we especially need your help to test if the bug devil have sneaked in somewhere. Please let us know if you encounter any issues or notice anything unusual. ---
## 🚀 New Features - Added German localization - Reworked and expanded main menu settings - Added keyboard icons sprite for input prompts (previously shown as text) - ngame UI now displays the current flight speed ---
## ⚖️ Balance Changes - Explosions of Boss 1 in Phase 3 are now slightly larger - Damage indicators of all Droprockets increased by 5% - Increased damage falloff of player AOE explosions ---
## 🐞 Bug Fixes - Fixed flickering of hangar spheres while building - Fixed ghost generation in the hangar – models are now properly hidden - Fixed various minor issues ---
## 🎨 Visual & Audio - Hangar design reworked - Cleaned up UI - Buttons for possible modules are now sorted and show a district icon - When using mouse input, the display of ghosts in “Possible Modules” is briefly locked - Hangar modules now feature sounds and effects when selected - Added icons for weight and Nion - Shop: Buy button now has a mouse-over effect - Added icons for weight and Nion - Reworked stats menu design - Replaced break HUD panel - Reworked victory HUD - Reworked game over HUD - Various ship weapons are now deactivated on game over, ship dissolution animation improved - Boss minimap icon now matches the base shape of the districts - Laser weapons now also visually hit locked enemies - Player explosions now hit enemies with a timed wave – the farther away the enemy, the greater the delay - Added various screenshake effects - Improved hit feedback of the Backfire Beam ---
## 🧩 Misc - Revised, simplified, and unified various texts - Optimizations, especially in GPU performance:
- Shader improvements
- Post-processing optimizations
- Reduced draw calls
- UI optimizations ---
