addedToday's UpdateThe main feature today is one that the mass majority of Nin Online players will never need to interact with - Warnings. Other additions are bug fixes and adding new graphics for future content expansions. Just for transparency, we're already done with the art creation side of the first expansion of Level 60+ content that we plan on releasing. Hence, the artists are now working on the game world enhancements project. As for programming, we're focused on making sure the community is a safe and fun place by empowering the Game Masters to handle reports faster and making sure players know that they are warned and why so they can correct their behavior before it escalates into a ban.
addedFeaturesAdded Warning Acknowledgement requirement when logging in for the first time with new warnings Steam post image How the Moderation/Infraction System Works Just as a reminder, we've used the same moderation system for years now, where GMs/Moderators do NOT choose your punishment or warning points. Moderators simply get reports Point out to the system what the infraction was (eg. Toxicity, Slurs etc.) The system gives the accounts a fixed point value for that infraction The system assigns warnings and punishments automatically based on the amount of points on the account. This needs to be clarified, because players constantly get confused as to why someone broke Rule X and got Punishment X . But they broke Rule X and got Punishment Y . Punishments are given to you automatically by the system, based on your past infractions in an increasing scale. So the person you're annoyed at for doing the same thing as you, may just not yet be on his way to the end of the punishment scale. Now this will make it clearer and tell you exactly how far you are away from collecting your next "fun reward". The recent updates has made it incredibly easy for us to look into reports and I know it’s not the norm for people to expect that these reports will all be handled by GMs because of the sheer amount that comes in. But because it is now so easy to look into, the chances are that if you are avoiding swear filters and being generally toxic, you will be banned very quickly now. So I plead to you, please don’t test the system. We want you to be able to play Nin Online. But we also cannot tolerate bad behavior.

Half a year on, Nin Online is still one of the Top 100 MMORPG on Steam by player count - competing and beating hundreds of other games with budgets of millions to hundreds of millions of dollars. If you navigate this list, you'll find nothing like Nin Online, it is an outlier. Nin Online is built with sacrifice, passion, blood, sweat and tears instead of dollars. It tries to be as ethical as possible with monetization against all odds.
If you like the game, please consider leaving a Steam review to help more people find the game and and supporting development by getting our one-time payment & vanity features Gold Ninja membership. Help us fulfill Hitspark's mission to show the larger industry that people want ethical monetization.
