Line Defense changes
Line Defense v1.0.17 Update – Bases, Floors & Combat Refinements
Bases, Walls & Floors
Began adding multiple new stage backgrounds.
Base floors added and expanded:
Wood, Iron, Stone, Brick, Obsidian, and Diamond floors added.
Floors can now be destroyed by enemies.
Floor textures refined across materials.
Diamond and Obsidian floor textures improved.
Walls updated:
Wall HP buffed at all levels.
Wall upgrade costs increased.
Level requirements for wall upgrades increased.
Material-based resistances added to walls.
Text descriptions added for each wall upgrade.
Characters
Archy
Arrows now charge slightly faster.
Maximum arrow charge increased.
Added additional arrow sprites for improved visual feedback.
Sward
Can now spin through damage without being interrupted.
Spin is no longer disabled after dashing.
Sword spin effectiveness doubled per perk level.
Spin remains active even while being hit by attacks.
Mech Noe
Lasers now accelerate after being fired.
Laser hitbox corrected to properly match the sprite.
Doc
Fixed wording on Doc’s special in the perk shop.
Gameplay & Balance
Difficulties rebalanced to increase overall game pace on Easy and Hard.
Fixed damage number behavior when multiple damage sources combine.
Fixed knockback issues with the world barrier.
Corrected Bo(m)b’s bombs assigning to the wrong player.
Players now pulse visually when collecting essence.
Essence pulse intensity fine-tuned based on amount collected.
Freeplay & Progression
Round at which Freeplay is entered is now tracked in the save file.
Round tracking now available during Freeplay.
Added an informational sign in the shop while in Freeplay.
Shop & UI
Added base selection option to the Sandbox menu.
Added upgrade description for Base upgrades.
Added shop descriptions for:
Generator
Sniper Turret
Multi-Rocket Turret
Seismic Turret
Increased size of the “Next” button on the title screen.
Updated various end screen player ratings.
Visuals & Polish
Began adding floors to base environments.
Refined wall and floor sprites across multiple materials.
Improved Diamond floor texture clarity.
Updated Obsidian floor textures.
Bug Fixes & Stability
Fixed glitch preventing Sward from spinning after dash.
Fixed knockback inconsistencies related to barriers.
Corrected multiple UI text and description issues.
