Infantry Optimization & Balance

  • The infantry movement system has been completely reworked — performance improved by more than 10x

  • Moving 250 units now uses only 0.5-1.5ms of CPU time instead of the previous 15ms

    Result shown in GIF: 250 soldiers moving simultaneously — FPS stays around 48 (50 when stationary)

  • Reworked color assignment logic for all vehicles

Performance Optimization

  • The infantry movement system has been completely overhauled — current CPU load is negligible compared to before

Bug Fixes

Critical Fixes

  • 🐞 Fixed a critical bug where many units would not attack air targets and remained invisible even when within line of sight

  • 🐞 Fixed a bug with infantry boarding helicopters

Animation & Behavior

  • 🐞 Fixed an issue where a soldier attacking while needing to move — the animation would not switch from shooting to running

Balance & Gameplay

Increased damage against infantry:

  • ⚙️ T-55 (main gun) — from 20.5 to 41

  • ⚙️ T-72B (main gun) — from 20.5 to 41

  • ⚙️ T-72B (secondary weapon) — from 4 to 10

  • ⚙️ BMP-2M — from 20.5 to 41

  • ⚙️ Terminator (main gun) — from 20.5 to 41

  • ⚙️ Terminator (secondary) — from 100 to 200

  • ⚙️ RPG-29 — from 18 to 36

  • ⚙️ RPG-7 — from 18 to 36

  • ⚙️ Ka-52 (S-5 rockets, 3rd weapon) — from 25 to 200

  • ⚙️ Ka-52 (Vikhr missiles) — from 55 to 400

  • ⚙️ Uragan (MLRS) — from 75 to 150

Known Issues (Work in Progress)

  • The Fog of War currently creates high CPU load with large unit counts — the next optimization phase will focus on this

Plans until May 1st

The main goal is to prepare a stable version by May 1st.

Priorities:

  • Fog of War optimization

  • Ongoing bug fixes based on player reports

  • Achieving consistently comfortable performance levels

No new features until May 1st — full focus on optimization and stability.
