Patch Notes - Version 0.19.1 Demo

Stability & Mobility Update

This update focuses on improving overall stability, fixing important issues, and reworking ground vehicle mobility. The main goal is to make army control more predictable, smoother, and more comfortable during large-scale battles.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the purple color could not be selected in the lobby when using the Russian localization. Color selection now works correctly across all language versions.

  • Fixed collision issues with the UAV Orlan-10: missiles now properly register hits and deal damage as intended.

  • Fixed a visual issue with the rotor blades of the Ka-52 when installing additional weaponry. Improved material application and mesh loading logic.

  • Resolved cases where tanks could get stuck, rotate in place, or overlap with each other while moving in formation.

  • Improved logic for resolving vehicle stacking: the leading unit now correctly continues moving, while the following unit yields, significantly reducing traffic jams.

Ground Vehicle Mobility Rework

  • Overall ground vehicle movement speed has been increased by approximately 40%, making battles more dynamic on large maps.

  • Improved tank maneuverabilitystationary turn speed has been increased by approximately 40% , resulting in more responsive and predictable controls.
  • Reworked column movement behavior: units now slow down properly, maintain distance, and collide with each other far less frequently.

These mobility adjustments are experimental and aimed at finding the optimal balance between realism and battle dynamics.

In Development

The following systems are currently in development and will significantly increase the tactical depth of the game:

  • Separation of air and ground vision radius, strengthening the role of air defense and specialized radar units. Systems such as the S-400 will be able to detect air targets at much greater distances while maintaining limited ground visibility.

  • Implementation of a new projectile logic for shells and missiles: instead of hitting infantry with perfect precision, shots will land with slight dispersion near the target. Damage will be justified by shrapnel and blast waves, making vehicle-to-infantry interactions more realistic and logical.

  • CosmeticImplementation of tank gun recoil when firingthe barrel will visually move backward and return to its original position, adding realism to combat actions.
  • Localization of the demo version into Turkish and Polish is currently in progress to make the game accessible to a wider audience.

  • CosmeticActive development of the new factionUSA - is ongoing. In the near future, I will be sharing previews of vehicles and buildings, as well as showcasing the faction’s gameplay features.

Optimization Issues

  • I am aware of the current performance issues that occur in certain gameplay situations and would like to address their status separately.

  • At the moment, the primary performance load is related to infantry movement logic. The system requires significant reworking, as large-scale infantry movement places considerable strain on the CPU. Optimization in this area is planned - work will begin either after the release of the USA faction or will be carried out in parallel with its development.

  • An issue has also been identified within the “attack” taskin certain situations, there is a partial looping in the search for a valid attack position against a target. This can cause increased CPU load and occasional game freezes. This logic will be reworked together with the infantry movement system.
  • Optimization is a gradual process, and performance will continue to improve step by step in future updates.
