I’m quite excited about this one since I think this really brings crusade in line with the ‘primary adventure’ mode it is intended to be. Also working on things like mid-map shops and map modifiers between the stages and other cool stuff that will come down the line.
addedNow has 3 difficulties (difficulty 2 is about the same as previous version)
addedMission progression has been significantly altered Each mission section now has 4 objectives to complete (was 3), with a minimum of 1 and maximum of 3 (was 5) per stage. After the first section, an extract location spawns and you choose when to go (3 section max per stage) Instead of an optional number of stages, the amount of sections\\objectives within a stage is up to you. Always 3 stages in each act. After extract, you are taken to a new map for the next stage Stage 3 reveals the boss instead of a stage transition
addedBeacon and Mutation large lists now are in grid format with only icons. There is a new setting to revert to the old look if you prefer.
changedConnect map mod now gives 2 stacks of Delayed Gratification (was random mods)
changedArmor class mastery legends require surviving any mission now (was P3+)

Completely reworked the way maps are loaded in to enable map transitions mid mission. I’m quite excited about this one since I think this really brings crusade in line with the ‘primary adventure’ mode it is intended to be. Also working on things like mid-map shops and map modifiers between the stages and other cool stuff that will come down the line.

This update required a TON of code changes so I fully expect there to be some bugs, please send feedback my way.

Crusade (renamed to Operation)

  • Now has 3 difficulties (difficulty 2 is about the same as previous version)

  • Difficulty increase between acts is larger

  • Mission progression has been significantly altered

    • Each mission section now has 4 objectives to complete (was 3), with a minimum of 1 and maximum of 3 (was 5) per stage.

    • After the first section, an extract location spawns and you choose when to go (3 section max per stage)

    • Instead of an optional number of stages, the amount of sections\\objectives within a stage is up to you. Always 3 stages in each act.

    • After extract, you are taken to a new map for the next stage

    • Stage 3 reveals the boss instead of a stage transition
