Hi everyone, We're Happy Slugs, the team behind Kill The Clock.

First of all, thank you so much for your incredible support and feedback since our Early Access launch on June 4! We’ve received 21 steam reviews so far, along with many bug reports and suggestions through the Steam Community, Google Forms, email, and more.

We’re carefully reading through each and every message, and while some fixes may take time, we’re working hard to address the most important issues first. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

🛠️ Chapter 3 Progress Report

Originally, we planned to start writing Chapter 3 right after launch. However, we had to prioritize bug fixes and polish based on your feedback, so story development was slightly delayed.

Here’s how we structure our scenario development for chapter 3:

  1. Outline the overall story and plot – Completed

  2. Plan detailed scene flow, dialogues, and branches – ~40% complete

  3. Write the full script and direction notes

  4. Implement the script into the game

We are currently in Step 2 and expect to begin full dialogue writing for chapter 3 next month.

🛠️ What’s Coming in July?

Here's what we’re working on next:

  • Add controller support

  • Improve how gold coins and resources are earned

  • Ongoing bug fixes and stabilization

  • Complete Chapter 3 planning and begin scriptwriting

We promised to keep you updated regularly, and this is just the beginning. We’ll continue sharing devlogs every month as we move toward the full release of Kill The Clock.

Thank you again for your support — every kind message, review, and piece of feedback truly means the world to us.

With love, — Happy Slugs 🐌
