Darkness itself is dangerous — monsters can emerge anywhere without light, and the system reacts to room lighting, the player’s presence, and flashlights. This creates a more natural and tense exploration experience.

Hello everyone!

We’d like to share some of the recent progress we’ve made on Internal Incident.

The biggest milestone is a working multiplayer system. We started implementing it fairly late in development, but after several weeks of work we managed to integrate it with our core gameplay.

We also rebuilt the monster spawning system. Instead of fixed spawners, creatures now appear dynamically in dark areas. Darkness itself is dangerous — monsters can emerge anywhere without light, and the system reacts to room lighting, the player’s presence, and flashlights. This creates a more natural and tense exploration experience.

Finally, we’ve updated the player hub. With more experience (and better assets) since the first version, we improved it to deliver a stronger atmosphere and smoother player experience.

And one more thing — we’re actively working on a publicly available playable demo, so stay tuned!
