Asynchronous Multiplayer
The arena just got a lot more crowded! You can now share your runs with other players in real-time without the stress of shared health pools:
4-Player Lobbies: Create or join a lobby to see up to 3 other players battling alongside you.
Individual Threats: Each player handles their own set of enemies and projectiles. You are only harmed by threats in your own "version" of the game.
Drop-In/Drop-Out: Life happens! Players can join or leave a session at any time without interrupting the flow for everyone else.
- Duo MatchmakingDon't have a full squad? Use the new Matchmaking feature to find a partner for a 2-player session.
Massive Augment Rebalance
With the introduction of multiplayer, we’ve taken a hard look at every power-up in the game:
Global Tuning: Every single augment has been readjusted or rebalanced to ensure build diversity and fairness.
Synergy Check: We’ve refined how certain augments interact to make the meta-progression feel more rewarding.
Visuals & Technical Polish
- UI RefreshThe interface has been updated to accommodate multiplayer tracking while maintaining clarity during the "Googly Eye" chaos.
Visual Upgrades: Further refinements to graphics and effects for a smoother experience.
- Bug SquashingFixed several persistent issues to ensure the new multiplayer architecture runs smoothly.
