added4 New Defensive AbilitiesSurvival just got tactical! We’ve added 4 new defensive skills. These will automatically trigger when danger is nearby if they are off their 5-second cooldown :
changed4 New Defensive AbilitiesImmunitas: Activates your full-duration grace period right when you need it.
removedStatus Bar UI & Visual JuiceStatus Effect Bars: We’ve removed the circular shield graphic. Now, active immunity shows as an effect bar with a visible timer text on the left or right of your character. This sets up the UI framework for future status effects! This includes haste effect from Velocitas!
changedStatus Bar UI & Visual JuiceReactive Bloom: The arena's intensity now matches your life force! You will experience high bloom at high health , which dynamically lowers as your health drops.
addedStatus Bar UI & Visual JuicePop-Up Animations: Projectiles now have a slick pop-up animation when spawning, and characters will pop visually when pushing or damaging others.

4 New Defensive Abilities

Survival just got tactical! We’ve added 4 new defensive skills. These will automatically trigger when danger is nearby if they are off their 5-second cooldown:

  • Velocitas: Gives you a massive speed boost for 1 second to outrun the swarm.

  • Immunitas: Activates your full-duration grace period right when you need it.

  • Repello: Fires a defensive kinetic pellet directly toward the closest threat.

  • Evado: Instantly pushes your character away from incoming danger.

Status Bar UI & Visual Juice

  • Status Effect BarsWe’ve removed the circular shield graphic. Now, active immunity shows as an effect bar with a visible timer text on the left or right of your character. This sets up the UI framework for future status effects! This includes haste effect from Velocitas!
  • Reactive Bloom: The arena's intensity now matches your life force! You will experience high bloom at high health, which dynamically lowers as your health drops.

  • Pop-Up Animations: Projectiles now have a slick pop-up animation when spawning, and characters will pop visually when pushing or damaging others.

  • "Blocked" Feedback: Projectiles that are successfully countered by your trails or other projectiles will now display a clean"Blocked"text when vanishing.

UI & Menu Polishing

  • Fixed the visual layout layering in the Skill Tree so indicators no longer hide behind upgrade buttons.

  • Fixed a menu selection glitch that happened when switching between mouse and keyboard/controller inputs simultaneously.

  • Fixed a bug allowing the language button to still be selected via controller/keyboard while the settings menu was open.

Fixes

  • Audio FixFixed a bug where the shooting SFX would fail to play for the additional shots generated by your Attack Burst stats.
  • Crash FixResolved a critical crash that occurred when abandoning a match right after an enemy died.
