Repeated intro
Greetings Divers! Heavy Metal Death Can has been out for almost a week and it's been a pleasure and a privilege to see the community embracing our little horror game. It is the studio's maiden voyage and it's been both heartwarming and harrowing watching streams and reading reviews of the game.

Heavy Metal Death Can changes
We're a small team with limited bandwidth and the amount of feedback we've gotten this week has been incredible. It gives us a clear picture of the state of the game and what works and what doesn't for our players.
We set out to make a game that was tough but fair, tuned so that players returning to the genre would feel adequately challenged, but we also wanted there to be an in for newer players by teaching them how these games are played. There are systems in place to make sure that players don't get left behind but they're too subtle and need tweaking.
The bosses are also in need of tweaking. We wanted them to be challenging, spikes of difficulty to make for rewarding wins and shake up the gameplay loop. It was never our intention for them to be unfair and after watching players struggle with them we've identified key issues which we'll adress specifically, especially on the first and last boss. These fixes will make the fights feel better and more fair while retaining their essence and their purpose as a memorable set piece fight.
We aim to release a patch on Friday with these fixes and we hope you'll give it a spin! Thank you so much for being early adopters of our game. It's our debut title and the trust you put in us to deliver a solid game on day one is not lost on us. Thank you for being part of Heavy Metal Death Can! Cheers! /Toby
