changedI wanted to give you an update on what we’re working on now. This week Fredrik’s gotten the game running on Mac and Linux Mint natively! We’ll be doing additional playtesting but initial testing has been very promising :)
changedRegarding Localization we’ve been in talks with multiple translation agencies but those services are simply out of our budget as a two person studio making a niche game. And AI is out of the question, we’ve gotten this far without it and we’re not gonna start using it now.
addedAfter talking to friends in the industry we’ve chosen to set up a Crowdin project . This is a platform for Crowdsourcing localization and many studios use this to add additional languages beyond their initial launch. We’re still working on the styleguide and glossaries but if you think you could contribute shoot me a message and I’ll send you an invite! It’s collaborative so one person doesn’t have to do the whole thing, every sentence helps! When a language gets added to the game you’ll be credited as well, of course.
changedThe other day we went to exhibit HMDC at Broken Summer Fest, a metal music festival in Stockholm and that was awesome! So many lovely gamers among the metal crowd, we really felt like we were with our tribe and it was a treat to get to be a small part of such a cool event!

This week HMDC also became Steam Deck Verified! Steam Deck was always a big priority for us so getting this validation means a lot!

Next week I'll get back in the studio to wrap up the OST! I don't have an ETA except for this summer for sure!
