addedThe focus for this patch has been adding ways for players to tailor their Heavy Metal Death Can experience in multiple ways. We've added difficulty modes for players who want a less unforgiving experience as well as those of you who are looking for a real challenge. These are chosen upon starting a new game but can be changed at any time in the options menu.
addedWe've also added a lot of bonus options that are unlocked upon beating the game once. These include cheats to play around with but most importantly two Item Randomizing modes! One mode excludes key-items making a run more predictable in terms of progression, the other one is full random and that is just all kinds of chaos. Note that while we've tested it a fair bit full-random is still kind of experimental, there might be dragons!
addedFor the Speedrunners we've added an In-Game timer that pauses on room switching in order to be hardware agnostic. This is accessible from the Game Options Menu. Any additional features Speedrunners would like let us know! Many players asked for an RE-Style Run+Down 180 degree turn and we have obliged, it's now in the game!
addedAdded Difficulty options, Easy, Normal and Hard.
addedAdded In-Game Timer option
