fixedWith this patch we’ve addressed this, making sure that the bosses are legible and that they offer sufficient feedback. They’re still challenging but they’re way tighter and the player will have more opportunity to respond and participate. You can now also skip dialogues making replays and retrying the bosses less tedious.
fixedSome players are having issues with resources being too scarce. We addressed this by having the Armorer sometimes handing out freebies depending on your inventory status. This was probably missed by everyone, not least the ones who may have needed it. Now he can give you a call on the phones scattered across the sub and tell you when there’s a freebie to be had.
fixedFixed some enemy pathing.
fixedFixed player getting stuck in a couple of dialogues.
fixedFixed a couple of typos.
changedThank you so much for giving our little horror game a spin this first week! Your feedback has been of tremendous help making Heavy Metal Death Can a better game and we couldn’t be more grateful! We’ll keep supporting the game moving on to localization and additional platform support. Onwards and upwards!

With patch 1.01 we feel the general experience of exploring the HMS Domherren is pretty solid balancing-wise. Wherever you go throughout your adventure you’re likely to find something useful. However, the bosses lacked some of that polish. We had focused on making the intended way of beating them work well that we neglected some of the more basic UX of the fight making them obtuse and frustrating.
