Gigantes Ex Machina changes
System & Accessibility Improvements
After the recent changes to the auto‑aim system, we received the following feedback:
The controller’s aiming cursor felt overly restricted in its movement range.
There was no reliable way to unlock a target.
Auto‑aim would switch to unintended targets while firing because the switch‑target and firing actions were bound to the same button.
Auto‑aim interfered with flight and shield modes by preventing movement or blocking in the intended direction.
Based on this feedback, we have improved the auto‑aim system, and here’s what has changed:
Controller aiming now allows you to reach the edges of the screen, just like with a mouse.
Auto‑aim mode can now be toggled on or off using a dedicated hotkey (Tab / R3 by default).
When auto‑aim is enabled and a target is locked on, the crosshair and auxiliary laser pointer will now turn red.
Auto‑aim will no longer switch to unintended targets; you can manually aim to select a target without needing to click.
Once a target is acquired, it will remain locked unless it goes off‑screen, is destroyed, or you manually switch targets by moving the mouse or right stick.
When using auto‑aim, manually moving the aiming reticle will briefly override the auto‑aim.
When the mouse or stick returns to neutral, the system will prioritize the nearest enemy to the reticle.
Additional Improvements
A new option has been added to the system settings that allows you to adjust controller sensitivity.
A HUD notification will now appear when the primary weapon is reloading or when a locked‑on target moves off‑screen and the lock is lost.
System Requirements Adjustment
We have improved the game's performance and stability in the latest build by updating the graphics processing pipeline and internal systems, and as a result, the system requirements have been raised.
Accordingly, the minimum and recommended specifications on the store page have been updated to reflect the latest standards.
We recognize that there are still areas that need improvement, and we will continue to make updates to provide a better gameplay experience.
Thank you to everyone who shared their valuable feedback.
