Dominus Automa changes
This week was a big step toward a real multiplayer experience.
We tested using spells with a larger number of characters at the same time, and also increased the number of players present on the map. Each character was still handled individually, but now everyone existed on the same server, which made the whole experience feel much more like an actual game session :D
We set up a server and connected to it with a few people to see how it works in practice. You could say this was our first “real” multiplayer test and… it worked ^^
Of course, there’s still a lot of work ahead of us, but this test gave us a solid foundation to build on. Would you like us to introduce anything specific along the way for the first multiplayer version planned for May/June? 🤔
If you haven’t added the game to your wishlist yet, you can do it here:
Dominus Automa That’s it for today 🫡 See you in the next devlog!
