changedSteam Servers Stress Test SummaryOver the last few days, we gathered together for what was originally planned as a relatively minor event for our community. The goal was simple: put our servers under pressure, collect valuable data, and learn more about how Dominus Automa behaves under real-world conditions. It's worth mentioning that this was the very first multiplayer event, so the stakes were high!
changedOver 100 players online at once!First and foremost, we'd like to thank every single one of you who participated. Whether you spent the entire event battling other players, monsters, reporting issues, or simply helping us increase the server load, you played an important role in helping us move Dominus Automa forward. This Stress Test marked a significant milestone in the development of the game, and we couldn't have reached it without your support. Thank you!
changedOver 100 players online at once! And so, the Stress Test launched. Within minutes, the arena became packed with players eager to test their builds, challenge each other in a PvP battle , and - perhaps most importantly - see whether our servers could survive the incoming chaos. Watching over a hundred players online simultaneously was both exciting and incredibly valuable from a development perspective.
changedOver 100 players online at once!Fireballs, lightning bolts, and countless other spells lit up the arena. Players were defeated and rushed back into the fray, while our servers fought their own battle behind the scenes . During the event, our dear testers took part in group battles, faced off in a battle royale challenge, and spent some time exploring the town and the surrounding areas. We enjoyed every minute of it!
changedOver 100 players online at once! The atmosphere throughout the event reinforced our belief in why we're building Dominus Automa in the first place: to create memorable multiplayer experiences driven by the players themselves.
changedOver 100 players online at once! The second round of the test focused on PvE challenges, allowing players to team up and take on enemies and powerful bosses scattered across the arena, the cozy town, and the surrounding areas. At the same time, our team was able to test the server's layering (sharding) system. We are happy to announce that everything went according to plan and we did not experience any crashes or connection issues.

Steam Servers Stress Test Summary

Over the last few days, we gathered together for what was originally planned as a relatively minor event for our community. The goal was simple: put our servers under pressure, collect valuable data, and learn more about how Dominus Automa behaves under real-world conditions. Over 100 players online at once!

First and foremost, we'd like to thank every single one of you who participated. Whether you spent the entire event battling other players, monsters, reporting issues, or simply helping us increase the server load, you played an important role in helping us move Dominus Automa forward. This Stress Test marked a significant milestone in the development of the game, and we couldn't have reached it without your support. Thank you!

And so, the Stress Test launched. Within minutes, the arena became packed with players eager to test their builds, challenge each other in a PvP battle, and - perhaps most importantly - see whether our servers could survive the incoming chaos. Watching over a hundred players online simultaneously was both exciting and incredibly valuable from a development perspective.

Fireballs, lightning bolts, and countless other spells lit up the arena. Players were defeated and rushed back into the fray, while our servers fought their own battle behind the scenes. During the event, our dear testers took part in group battles, faced off in a battle royale challenge, and spent some time exploring the town and the surrounding areas. We enjoyed every minute of it!

The atmosphere throughout the event reinforced our belief in why we're building Dominus Automa in the first place: to create memorable multiplayer experiences driven by the players themselves.

The summary

The data collected during the Stress Test will help us improve both server stability and the overall multiplayer experience. Our team is already analyzing logs, reviewing feedback, and identifying opportunities for optimization before the next major phase. And now, the summary itself!

The numbers are in, and they're here thanks to your participation. Let's take a look!

Perhaps even more importantly, this event proved something we had hoped for from the very beginning: that there is an amazing community forming around Dominus Automa.

Thank you once again for helping us stress our servers, break things, report issues, and create an unforgettable evening of PvP chaos. We are incredibly grateful to have you with us on this journey.

What's next for Dominus Automa?

The success of the Steam Stress Test has energized the entire team and reinforced our commitment to making Dominus Automa even better. Our next major milestone is a dedicated Multiplayer Playtest build packed with new features, exciting activities, and plenty of enemies waiting to be defeated.

We'll be sharing more details in the coming weeks, so if you'd like to stay up to date, make sure to wishlist Dominus Automa and join our Discord community.
