Dominus Automa changes
The launch date of the Stress Test is now confirmed
We couldn't be more excited, and judging by the number of players registered for the Test, we can tell you feel the same way. And so, the wait is almost over - the first official Stress Test for Dominus Automa begins in just 3 days, on Sunday, June 7th!
For the very first time, players will gather together inside a specially prepared arena to take part in a massive PvP battle designed to push both your combat skills… and our servers to their absolute limits.
Dominus Automa - Steam Stress Test Teaser
Ok... but what is this Stress Test all about?
The primary goal of this event is simple. We want to fill the game with as many players as possible and thoroughly test our server infrastructure under heavy load conditions.
Large-scale multiplayer battles are one of the core pillars of Dominus Automa, and this test will help us better understand how the game behaves when chaos truly begins. And honestly… we’re expecting chaos! But there's more - we have one totally new feature to test.
During their Stress Test adventure, players will be able to move their characters using a point-and-click control system. This is a major experiment on our side, and we’d love to hear your feedback after the event:
Does this new movement system feel comfortable?
Does it improve combat readability?
Would you like to see it become a permanent option in the future?
Your feedback during the Stress Test will directly help us shape the future of the game, so feel free to share your thoughts!
Connection guide
When the time comes, we will enable a "Join the Playtest" section on our Steam store page. Once you hit the green button there, Steam will download the Stress Test build. Run the new build and... enjoy!
Slay your enemies… and maybe our servers too
We’re preparing for all possible scenarios:
Best case? - You defeat your enemies on the battlefield.
Perfect case? - You defeat both your enemies and our servers at the same time.
Who knows - maybe our infrastructure will survive the pressure… or maybe Sunday will become legendary for entirely different reasons. Either way, we can’t wait to see hundreds of players fighting together inside the arena.
