As chosen by the Update Poll, the Graveyard Ruins Update is up! Featuring many new spooky additions to the game, including making POIs an official location generated when a world is created, like road signs previously were. Plus many fixes and improvements to scary stuff like Skeletons, Zombies, Vampires, Corpses, Statues, Funerals, Imperial Measurement Units, and more! So get World-Regenerating and go find these Ruins and Graveyards, and discover their secrets, if you dare!
Changelog
New POIs (Points of Interest, like the road Signs):
Graveyards! Rows of tombstones for the fallen, these very graverobbable unmarked locations would be perfect for a pit stop, if only...
Ruins! Abandoned, destroyed dungeons, or cities? They still harbor treasure, even in their ruined state, but also danger!
New Monuments:
Tombstones! Built with 4 stones, these grave markers can be carved with epitaphs!
Low Cobblestone Walls! Built with 8 stones, these low barriers might not stop any taller monster, but they are sturdy, cheap, and beautiful!
The Goddess Statue! Praise her glory and heed its warning!
New Bed/Shrine: The Goddess Shrine! Pray at it for an hour to buff all your attributes by 1 for the day!
New Item Container: Coffins! Cheap, but can hold less Items and are less durable than Chests... And occupies a much more awkward space, but the cool factor pays off! Build with only 3 wood planks!
New ????: Monster ???????
New Lorebook by daedric: What has become of the Far North?
NPCs now actively burn bodies outside as a funeral rite (burying them is traditional, but too expensive, and dangerous, nowadays)
Villages can now have a little shrine dedicated to the Goddess
Vampire Dungeons now have a unique entrance variant, no torches at all, and coffins in place of normal chests
Added two new difficulties, for flavor and experimentation: Realistic (10% Damage), which is Realistic but with 10% of the damage on both sides, and King's Field (Slow and Hard), which is Extreme, but with 25% slower actions and higher stamina cost
Added Miles and Kilometers to measure units, to be used instead of only meters and feet when adequade
Better Height Modifiers for Goblin and Fairy Zombies/Corpses and Skeletons
Better HUD descriptions and Interactions with Jammed-up Traps
Better sound for destroying Ore Items
Better text for the distance when asking NPCs for directions, including rounding for Imperial units
Bodies now decompose twice as fast when burning, and twice as slow when frozen
Characters no longer target you when their target in combat despawns or is transformed
Delivery Quests can now be completed by delivering the Item even to unconscious or transformed NPCs
Humanoid kicks are now a box from the floor to your head, meaning you can now kick enemies, items and whatever else above and below you, since kicks can't be angled up or down
Increased the cost to build Cabinets by 1 wood plank, making it the same as Chests except with no metal ingot material requirement
Kicking excessively solid objects now causes you to trip instead of abruptly ending the kick or triggering a weapon bounce-back
Nerfed the EXP Gain of the Shooting and Throwing Skills
Placing buildings now has a ground-level helper marker to assist with placing correctly on the floor
Player-built Houses are now properly named "PLAYER-NAME's BUILDING-NAME"
Props like Vases, Crates and Chairs now have a 1-second delay after spawning before they deal collision damage, like dropped Items
Spells with areas now have a better hitbox and don't have infinite vertical range
The Encyclopedias now detail what magical Effects you'll learn when
