Hello, Scientists, This update focuses on improving capsule test feedback, experiment logs, craftable Stun/Kill Stim flow, infection news behavior, and several Call Assistant interaction fixes. New Features Experiment Logs You can now review recent capsule test results from the workstation. The new Experiment Logs panel keeps track of your latest capsule tests, including both successful and failed experiments. Failed tests now provide more useful information without revealing the exact solution. For failed capsule tests, the details panel can show: Closest Match Similarity Suggested Direction Suggested Direction gives puzzle-like guidance such as improving stability, reducing aggressive mutation patterns, adjusting transmission behavior, or fixing viability problems. The system keeps the latest 20 experiment records, so you can review recent results and use them to improve your next blueprint attempt. Better Failed Test Feedback Failed capsule tests now generate a clearer report. Instead of simply failing without context, the game now tries to identify the closest matching classification and gives a general direction for what may need to change. The feedback is intentionally not exact. It will not directly reveal stat thresholds or the full recipe, but it should make failed experiments easier to understand and less frustrating. Craftable Stun and Kill Stims Stun Stim and Kill Stim blueprint crafting has been improved. When these blueprints are crafted, they can now produce the correct stim item directly without requiring a capsule test flow. This should make utility stim crafting cleaner and more consistent. Improvements Infection News Improvements The infection news system has been improved. News generation is no longer limited too heavily around a single classification path, and infection story cooldowns are now handled per virus instead of globally. This should allow different virus classifications to generate news more reliably without being blocked by another virus story cooldown. Improved Infection Spread from Sales Item sale effects related to infection spread have been improved. The game now resolves classification data more reliably when infection exposure is created from sold items, and sold quantities can now better affect infection exposure behavior. Call Assistant Interaction Fixes Several Call Assistant HUD interaction issues have been fixed. Pressing C while the assistant list is already open now closes the list. When the assistant list is open, the HUD now shows the correct close label instead of repeating the Call Assistant label. Navigate and Select input hints should now appear more reliably when the assistant list opens. Mouse selection behavior has also been improved, so clicking with Mouse0 now selects the highlighted assistant entry instead of cancelling the interaction.
