Repeated intro

Hello, Scientists, This update focuses on improving overall stability, Steam service handling, shadow performance, and several laboratory scene systems. Improvements Engine and Rendering Updates Several engine and rendering pipeline components have been updated. These changes help keep the game on a stronger technical foundation and support future stability, performance, and visual improvements. Steam Service Handling Improvements Steam-related startup and logging behavior has been improved. The game now handles cases where Steam data is delayed or temporarily unavailable more safely, reducing the chance of Steam-related startup or logging issues. Shadow Performance Improvements Shadow update behavior has been optimized. Lights outside the camera view now update less frequently, reducing unnecessary shadow processing while keeping important visible lighting behavior intact. This should help improve performance and reduce unnecessary rendering cost in the laboratory. Laboratory Scene Refresh The laboratory scene received updated lighting, rendering, and navigation data. These changes are part of ongoing work to improve the visual consistency, scene stability, and navigation reliability of the laboratory environment. Fixes Infection System Stability Fixed a runtime stability issue in the infection system that could occur while infection data was being updated. This should reduce the chance of rare “collection modified” style errors during infection processing. Assistant Carry Stability Improved assistant carry behavior when carried objects are removed, destroyed, or become invalid during a task. Assistants should now fail the carry task more safely instead of continuing with invalid object references. Zombie Interaction Cleanup Reduced unnecessary warning spam from zombie animation/tween callbacks when targets are intentionally disabled or destroyed. This should make runtime logs cleaner and reduce noise around expected zombie cleanup behavior. Navigation Safety Improvements Improved safety checks around assistant navigation stopping and path reset behavior. This reduces the chance of navigation operations running on invalid or unready agents. Closing This update is mainly focused on technical stability, rendering performance, and keeping laboratory systems more reliable during regular gameplay. More gameplay improvements, optimization passes, and laboratory polish updates are still in progress. d'Evo Team support@devo.gg www.devo.gg
