🛠 How We Build a Stage

Here’s a general flow of how we create a new stage:

  1. Start with a rough sketch and idea for the stage structure

  2. Design the background and enemy visuals

  3. Implement them into the stage

  4. Estimate what animations and sound effects are needed

  5. Create sound effects (realistic ones are handled by Hideaki)

  6. Draw animations

  7. Adjust enemy scripts

  8. Break down enemy AI logic into tasks

  9. Implement enemy behavior and attacks

Each stage also includes an intro scene and a clear scene, which we build as we go.

By the way, I'm personally handling all of the implementation work! Hideaki helps out with the sound effects I’m not so good at—especially the realistic ones—and that’s been a huge help.
