Checkpoint 19 changes
Missions, Funding & People Processing Expansion
Development on Checkpoint 19 continues with the first steps toward expanding the strategic and operational depth of the game.
Missions & Funding System Started
Work has officially begun on the implementation of missions and funding systems.
These systems are designed to introduce new objectives, operational pressures, and progression layers into checkpoint management. Instead of simply maintaining traffic flow, players will increasingly need to balance government expectations, resource allocation, operational efficiency, and security priorities.
Funding will play a critical role in how players expand and adapt their checkpoint over time, influencing infrastructure growth, staffing decisions, and future upgrades.
Meanwhile, missions will introduce more directed challenges and evolving scenarios, pushing players to adapt their strategies under changing conditions.
New People Processing Checkpoint Building
Development has also started on a dedicated People Processing Checkpoint Building, expanding border control operations beyond vehicle inspections.
This new building is intended to handle pedestrian and individual traveler processing, opening the door for new inspection mechanics, operational risks, and management decisions.
As Checkpoint 19 grows, the goal is to create a checkpoint ecosystem where traffic flow, staff management, inspections, and risk assessment all interact together under increasing pressure.
More updates coming soon as development continues.
