addedVoltiguers Unit:This new light unit has the special ability to form a skirmish formation. This allows soldiers to cover more ground, target multiple enemy units, while suffering few casualties. Artillery fire has little effect on this unit, but close combat attacks can make it easy prey.
changedVisual changes:The terrain has received a visual upgrade in several aspects. First, the textures have been changed to a hand-painted art style. Second, the villages have been reworked to better match the scale of the soldiers. Third, the addition of wheat fields and another type of tree, the oak, further enhances the battlefield.
addedCavalry charge:Cavalry can now charge enemy units! You must, however, choose the right moment to give the charge order, since the unit will quickly exhaust itself and cannot charge indefinitely! A cavalry charge is devastating for all enemy units. The enemy does not yet have the ability to do so, but enemy infantry squares will eventually be able to counter your cavalry charges.

Improved points in this version:

Corrected bugs:

  • There is no longer an infinite loop when a hunter dies.

  • The cavalry melee attack animation is now correctly linked.

  • Disabling the hunter's stealth formation was never updated in the army overview interface.

  • The health bar of buildings was flashing when the mouse was hovering over it.

  • The cards for allied reinforcements, in the army overview interface, were not displaying.
