Ars Notoria – Early Access FAQ

Since announcing the release date for Ars Notoria, we’ve received a lot of enthusiastic feedback from players. Thank you so much for your support! Many players also have questions about the upcoming EA version, so we’ve prepared this FAQ to address some of the most common ones.

Release Info

Q1: On which platform/store will the game be released?

The Early Access release will be available on PC (Steam).

Q2: When is the release date and what is the pricing?

• Release Date: November 27, 2025, 10:00 (UTC)

• Price: $19.99 USD, with a 10% launch discount for the first two weeks.

Q3: In which regions will the game be available, and which languages are supported?

• Available Regions: Global

• AdjustedEarly Access launch languagesEnglish, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish

• Russian and Ukrainian are expected to be fully supported in December.

Q1: Which systems currently support the game?

The game currently supports Windows only.

Q2: What are the recommended system requirements?

• 64-bit processor and operating system required

• OS: Windows 10

• CPU: Intel Core i7-10700K / AMD Ryzen 2700X or equivalent

• RAM: 16 GB

Q3: Does the game support Steam Cloud saves?

Yes.

Q4: Does the game support controllers?

Controllers are not supported at the Early Access launch. This feature is planned to be added later during Early Access.

Q5: Can I transfer my Demo/Playtest progress to Early Access?

While old saves can still be used, minor compatibility issues may occur. Starting a new save is recommended for the best experience.

Q6: If I switch devices, will my progress be retained?

• The game supports Steam Cloud, allowing you to continue your progress when logging into the same Steam account on another device.

• You can also manually back up your save files when moving to a new device. Save files are located at:

  Users/YourUserName/AppData/Local/ArsNotoria/Saved/SaveGames/Users

Q1: What type of game is Ars Notoria?

Ars Notoria is an open-world survival crafting game set in a rich fantasy world. Blending classic gameplay elements like building, crafting, and survival, it invites you on a journey filled with wonder, mystery, and discovery.

Q2: What content is included in the Early Access version?

The Early Access version features an open world with multiple biomes to explore and all core gameplay systems implemented, including combat, building, crafting, and faction management. You can join the Holy Guard faction in the Training Camp, experience their storyline, develop your own faction, and build a settlement.

Q3: What updates are planned for the game?

• More factions, each with unique storylines, characters, gameplay mechanics, combat classes, armor and weapons, and building modules

• Expanded map with additional areas and dungeons

• New types of enemies and bosses

• More side quests

Q4: Will Early Access receive regular updates?

Yes! We will continue adding new content and fixing issues based on community feedback.

Q5: Is there co-op mode?

You can play solo or join online PVE with friends to explore the world of Ars Notoria.

Multiplayer is still being optimized. To reduce potential issues:

• Have the player with the best network conditions host the session

• Back up your world and character saves before playing online

If you encounter any multiplayer issues, please report them. Your experience is very important to us, and we are continually improving multiplayer gameplay.

Q6: What is the maximum number of players in co-op mode?

There is no hard limit but the game is balanced for parties with up to 4 players.

Q7: Is there PVP in the game?

Currently, the game only supports PvE. PvP support is planned for a future Early Access update.

Q8: How do I choose the difficulty?

The game difficulty can be selected when creating a new game world or adjusted at any time from the Settings menu. The available options are:

• Sandbox – Enemies are weaker and less aggressive, suitable for a peaceful building and crafting experience.

• Normal – Balanced enemy strength, providing a moderate challenge in combat.

• Survival – Stronger enemies and higher difficulty, testing your survival skills in the harsh world.

Q9: How do I adjust graphics settings and key bindings?

From the main menu, click Settings to adjust graphics, key bindings, auto-save intervals, UI, audio, and more. During gameplay, press ESC to access the settings menu.

Development & Community

Q1: How can I submit a bug report?

You can submit a bug report through the in-game form (including screenshots and detailed descriptions if possible), or join the official Discord to report issues directly. We will review and follow up promptly.

Q2: How do I report translation issues?

We highly value localization quality. If you find untranslated text or incorrect translations, please report them through the bug report form or on Discord. Providing screenshots and context will help us resolve issues faster. Thank you for your support!

Q3: Can players provide suggestions?

Absolutely! Player feedback is essential. Please share your suggestions on Discord or the Steam forum.

Q4: What if the game crashes?

Locate your save files (including the Character and World folders) to help us identify the issue. Save location:

1. Users/YourUserName/AppData/Local/ArsNotoria/Saved/SaveGames/Users

2. Join the official Discord and upload your save files with a detailed description of the issue. We will investigate as soon as possible.

Q5: What should I do if my character cannot move?

Try using the in-game “Unstuck” function.
