Ars Notoria changes
We have prepared a new content update that expands crafting and combat mechanics with the introduction of new Apothecary and Alchemist tools, along with a variety of new craftable items and rare resources to discover throughout the world.
The Apothecary has received two new tools:
Apothecary Table – Used to craft and refill potions.
Toxicology Kit – Required for creating poisons.
Potions provide powerful short-term bonuses and come with multiple charges, allowing them to be reused and refilled at appropriate workstations instead of being consumed permanently. Different potion types can support various playstyles, offering temporary boosts during exploration and combat.
Poisons can be applied to melee weapons, increasing damage, accelerating effect buildup, and inflicting additional debuffs on affected enemies. This adds new options for close combat and allows for more specialized preparation before battles.
The Alchemist now has access to the Alchemy Bench, which can be used to craft various powders. Powders are designed for ranged weapons such as pistols and rifles, enhancing shots with additional damage and other combat bonuses.
To craft these new items, you will need to locate a range of unique resources, including Herbs for potions, Toxins for poisons, and Minerals for powders. These resources are very rare and can only be found in specific regions and environments.
