🏆 Major Loot Overhaul: Champions & Bosses

We’ve heard your feedback regarding drop consistency. We want the toughest fights to feel rewarding every single time.

  • Loot Caches: Champion units, Raid Bosses (System Cores), and Zone Foremans now drop Loot Caches upon defeat.

  • Guaranteed UniquesThese caches are guaranteed to contain Unique items, ensuring your victories over elite threats provide a meaningful power spike.Note: These changes will not be integrated into the Demo as these are Premium features and are only available in the Base Game.
  • Improved Drop Rates: General drop rates for high-tier units have been significantly tuned upward across the board.

  • New Boss & Champion Drops (24 Items Added): We have expanded the loot table with two distinct new categories of high-tier gear: Note: These changes will not be integrated into the Demo as these are Premium features and are only available in the Base Game.

    • Dynamic Scaling Boss Drops12 new items (including the Titan, Aegis, and Angelic ring series and special cloaks like the Synaptic Cloak) that scale their power based on your primary stats like STR, AGI, or NCU.
    • Hybrid Risk/Reward Implants12 new Champion-tier implants (such as the Blood-Iron Matrix and Omnipath Core) that offer massive boosts to Vitality and Crit Damage in exchange for reduced elemental or physical resistances.

💡 Pro-Tip: Understanding the New Gear Logic

Dynamic Scaling Explained: The new Boss rings and cloaks aren't just static stat sticks—they grow with you.

  • The Ratio: Most of these items operate on a 10:1 ratio. For example, the Titan’s Neural Band grants +1 Max NCU for every 10 points of STR you have.

  • Build Synergy: If you are a high-Strength "Titan" build, these items allow your secondary resources (like Health or NCU) to scale automatically as you pump your primary attributes.

  • End-Game PotentialAs your stats reach the triple digits, these items become significantly more powerful than standard fixed-stat gear.

Hybrid Implant Strategy: Champion implants now feature "Negative Resistance" modifiers.

  • These are designed for specialized builds. For example, the Omnipath Core grants massive power but makes you highly vulnerable to Energy, Cold, and Chemical damage.

  • Use these when you know you can compensate for the weakness via other gear or if you are confident in your dodge/avoidance skills!

⚔️ New System: Kill Tier Feedback

Understanding your momentum in combat is vital. We’ve implemented a new feedback loop for "Kill Tiers" to show you exactly how well you are performing.

  • Visual IndicatorsNew on-screen visual effects now trigger when you progress through Kill Tiers.
  • Combat Log UpdatesThe log will now explicitly state when you have reached a new tier.
  • OnboardingWe've added indicators to explain the progression: Higher Kill Tiers = Better Loot Variety. Now you’ll know exactly when you’ve pushed the RNG in your favor.

🧪 Combat & Mechanics

  • Critical Heals:

    • Flat Instant Heals and Flat Heals over Time (HoTs) can now critically hit! These are calculated based on the actor's Critical Hit stats.

    • Percentage-based heals remain stable and will not crit to maintain balance for tank-heavy builds.

  • Dodge Chance CapFixed a bug where Dodge Chance was incorrectly scaling up to 90% at 100+ AC. Dodge is now properly hard-capped at 64% to prevent unintended invincibility frames.

🖥️ UI & Quality of Life

  • Instant Loadout Refresh: We have overhauled the Strength requirement logic in the Loadout screen.

    • Equipping gear with +STR modifiers will now instantly update the requirements of other items in your inventory.

    • You no longer need to close and re-enter the menu to see updated requirements; the UI now reflects your true stats in real-time.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Fixed various minor localization strings.

  • Optimized visual particles for elite unit deaths to improve performance during heavy raids.

Thank you for your continued support and feedback! May fortune favor you.
