Building a successful character in Apocalypse: The Hunger isn't just about throwing strong cards together; it's about the intricate synergy between your species, your traits, your equipped gear, and your deck. To help you master this complex web of mechanics, we've built a comprehensive theorycrafting tool.

Here is a breakdown of all the powerful features the new Deck Planner has to offer:

🧬 Total Character Customization (Race & Traits)

Before you draw a single card, you need a body. The Race & Traits tab lets you lay the foundation of your build.

  • Select Your Species: Choose between Human, Orc, or Ghoul, instantly applying base stats, unique resistances, and elemental vulnerabilities.

  • Soul Configuration: Pick up to two powerful traits (like Skeleton Frame, Thick Brain, or Eldritch Heritage) to drastically alter your starting attributes. Watch your stats update in real-time as you mix and match!

🦾 Advanced Loadout & Paper Doll System

Your gear dictates your deck. The Loadout tab features a full 14-slot paper doll system where you can equip weapons, armor, accessories, and up to four cybernetic implants.

  • Real-Time Stat Calculation: Every piece of gear alters your live Character Stats panel. Watch how equipping a Sandevistan spikes your Initiative, or how Active Camo buffs your Dodge.

  • Dynamic Item Scaling: Test out late-game, raid-tier gear with dynamic scaling! See how items like the Gravity Hammer scale your Strength and Damage Reduction while gradually increasing it’s Initiative.

  • Risk/Reward Champion Implants: Experiment with volatile boss-drop implants that sacrifice elemental resistances for massive health and power boosts.

  • Max Level TestingWant to see what a god-tier build looks like? Use the "Max Lv. 100" button to instantly upgrade all available items to their maximum potential and see the insane stat breakpoints you can reach.

🃏 NCU-Bound Deck Building

In Apocalypse, your deck size and power are directly tied to your character's Neural Capacity Unit (NCU).

  • Dynamic Capacity: Your Max NCU is actively calculated based on your equipped gear, Toughness breakpoints, and traits. You can only add cards if your brain can handle the processing load!

  • Full Database Access: Browse the entire pool of Kinetic, Energy, Bio, Cyber, and Void cards. Filter through standard attacks, powerful buffs, and game-changing unique skills.

📊 Deck Analysis & Draw Simulation

A deck might look good on paper, but how does it play? The Draw Hand tab is a theorycrafter's best friend.

  • Deck Analysis Dashboard: Get an instant, detailed breakdown of your deck's synergy. The dashboard automatically calculates your Average NCU Cost, tracks your NCU Curve (from 0 to 51+ cost cards), and counts your elemental damage types (Kinetic, Energy, Cold, Chem, Explosive).

  • Action Economy Breakdown: Instantly see your ratio of Attacks, Heals, Buffs, Debuffs, and Utilities to ensure your deck has the perfect balance.

  • Simulate Starting Hands: Hit the "Draw Random Hand" button to instantly simulate your opening 4-card draw. Test your deck's consistency and make sure you aren't bricking on turn one!

🔒 100% Private & Client-Side

Just a quick note on privacy: The Database Wiki and Deck Planner run entirely in your local browser. There are no tracking cookies, no server pings, and absolutely no data collection. Your top-secret, game-breaking builds are completely safe with you.
