Afterdepth changes
Even though this is a small update, it fixes a critical issue (crash when picking up the lantern) and is another step toward a larger update that’s on the way. Thanks to everyone who’s playing — your feedback has been really valuable, and I’m focused on the weakest parts of the game right now while I keep working on the expansion. Next month should bring big news; in the meantime, this hotfix makes the experience more stable for everyone already exploring Afterdepth.
Important note: unfortunately, this update will invalidate your previous save. I want to avoid that as much as possible going forward; I know it’s frustrating, and I appreciate everyone’s understanding. If you have questions, I’m here to help.

Crash when picking up the lantern — some players reported this; I found where it happened and fixed it.
Localization
Adjustments for missing German translation warnings.
Gameplay
Aim for throwing the hook upward — aim / lantern no longer resets on its own until you start moving, so you can aim more comfortably without nailing a perfect button sequence between aim and launcher.
Technical
Better error monitoring from this version onward, so we can find and fix issues faster.
