Version 1.5 - New Modes Added!

It has been six months since the release of ZENVADER, and while I have continued to make minor adjustments during that time, this is the biggest update so far!

changedOnce you clear the standard campaign with any single unit, you’ll unlock an extremely high-difficulty campaign mode. Boss patterns and alien formations are revamped, and the bullet hell is even more intense. The difficulty is so challenging that even veteran players with fully upgraded units will find it tough to clear, so please give it a try.
addedI have significantly revised the difficulty curve for ZEN Mode and added a mechanic where the number of aliens increases with each wave. As a result, Wave 30 is now quite challenging, and Waves 40-45 will probably be the limit for most players. If you think you’re up to the task, please take on the challenge of reaching Wave 50, which I consider the “Realm of the Gods.”
added・You can now defeat the Caster by landing 5 Bind Grenades.
changed・The debuff effect of Bind Grenades has been strengthened: the first hit only blocks projectiles, the second increases your projectile damage by 1.5x, the third by 2x, and the fourth by 2.5x. The damage multiplier now increases by 0.5 for each additional hit.
added・Bind Grenades can now clear bullets currently on the screen. This allows for tactics such as exploding a grenade right in front of you to escape a situation when your ship is surrounded by bullets.
changed・When a Bind Grenade hits a boss, the boss’s movement speed and bullet speed are now reduced to one-third.

Once you clear the standard campaign with any single unit, you’ll unlock an extremely high-difficulty campaign mode. Boss patterns and alien formations are revamped, and the bullet hell is even more intense. The difficulty is so challenging that even veteran players with fully upgraded units will find it tough to clear, so please give it a try.

*Important Note

When you launch Version 1.5 and press “START” on the title screen to open the mode selection screen, your existing ZEN Mode records will be reset. I apologize to those who have been challenging these records with the previous settings, but I hope you will understand that this is part of the efforts to improve the experience.

Other Changes
