fixedA deep, system-by-system audit pass following great player bug reports. We swept the entire game for the same classes of issue players caught — metrics being read backwards, "free" actions, double-counted costs, and systems that quietly didn't connect — and fixed them across the board.
removedECONOMY & FISCAL • IMF assistance programs now correctly NARROW your deficit instead of widening it. • Removed a double-charge on debt interest at high central-bank rates. • Investment fund returns no longer pay down debt twice — gains now realize when you withdraw, as they should. • Closed two free-debt exploits: Fiscal Consolidation and Tax Amnesty can no longer be spammed every month (they're now genuine multi-year programs on a cooldown).
changedMILITARY • Military investment now actually reaches combat power. Funding readiness, building your defense industry, and improving infrastructure/education now flow into doctrine, equipment, logistics and battlefield readiness over time — previously these were locked at their starting values.
fixedAI & DIPLOMACY • Fixed a dead code path so rival nations can once again let a long, deeply hostile rivalry boil over into war — not only after a refused ultimatum.
changedGOVERNANCE • Martial law and emergency powers now calm the actual unrest meter driving uprisings, not just a parallel statistic. • Authoritarian regimes whose stability collapses now fall when it happens, instead of waiting years for the next scheduled "election."
changedThanks again to the community for the detailed, specific reports — they make passes like this possible. Stability validated across multi-nation 50-year soak tests.
