In this update, a brand-new Prisoner System has been introduced, along with gameplay adjustments and major bug fixes.

▣ Prisoner & Slave Trader System Added
A new Prisoner System has been introduced, allowing you to capture enemies in battle, recruit them as Company members, or trade them with Slave Traders.
Prisoner Capture & Management
Enemies with 10 HP or less who are rendered incapacitated (via stun, dismount, etc.) will be guaranteed to be captured.
Dealing health damage to an enemy with 10 HP or less grants a 10% chance to capture them.
The capture chance will be displayed as the'Captured'trait in the hit information.
Captured prisoners are acquired with all their equipment removed, and a portion of their levels and proficiencies will be lost.
Captured prisoners increase your inventory weight limit, but they continuously consume food and slow down your Company's movement speed.
Prisoner Persuasion & Escape
Prisoners will attempt to escape periodically. Prisoners with better talents or professions have a higher escape chance, which gradually increases over time.
Assigning a guard to your Company will significantly reduce the prisoners' escape chance.
You can win over prisoners to recruit them as Company members. The persuasion success rate varies depending on the prisoner's talents and profession, and you can appropriately use two different methods to persuade them.
Persuade: Consumes a significant amount of currency per attempt but has a high success rate.
Share a Cup: Can be attempted with a small amount of currency but has a very low success rate.
※ For both methods, the success rate gradually increases based on the number of times you have previously chosen Share a Cup.
Slave Trader
You can sell or buy prisoners through Slave Traders.
Slave Traders are stationed in certain fiefs.
▣ Gameplay & Balance Adjustments
To alleviate the inconvenience many players experienced regarding the inventory weight limit and to address the constraints and issues of the previous mechanism—which strictly required a horse to be equipped to use a cart—we have made the following changes:
Carts can now be equipped even without a horse equipped.
The inventory weight limit bonus for carts obtainable in the early game has been significantly increased.
Talent & Growth Balance
The probability of all characters obtaining a higher number of talents and higher talent tiers has been increased. Additionally, characters with higher talent tiers will see their corresponding attributes appear more frequently upon leveling up.
You can now check a character's number of talents and talent tiers in their Detailed Information screen.
Event Changes
Companion events caused by food shortages or unpaid wages will now trigger immediately. In a future update, companions will desert the Company if food shortages and unpaid wages persist.
Background Changes
The penalty for the'Dissolute Vagabond'background has been adjusted to make it more accessible for beginners. It has been changed from 'Reduced EXP and Proficiency gain' to 'Increased Food Consumption'. More backgrounds will be added in future updates.
Combat Convenience
A notification message will now be displayed in the battle results screen if there are uncollected items or prisoners left behind.
▣ UI/UX & Graphics Polishing
Visuals like the Fog of War effect, tile effects, movement effects, and click effects have been polished to be smoother and cleaner.
A voice customization feature has been implemented during character creation and modification.
The save slot UI has been updated to record and display the game difficulty and survival days on save files. The game date display on the HUD has also been adjusted.
For better visibility comfort, the radius in which trees near characters are hidden has been expanded from 3 tiles to 4 tiles.
▣ Major Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug where shop items did not refresh when a caravan arrived, and adjusted caravan numbers and data.
Fixed an issue where players could still control characters while in a panicked state.
Fixed an issue where a caravan's name would change to the name of the fief whenever it visited that fief.
Fixed a bug where only horse armor would appear visible as if equipped when no horse was present.
Fixed a bug where horse equipment could be equipped without a horse.
Fixed an issue where longbows and crossbows would disappear when attempting to equip them while mounted.
There is an issue where bows occasionally cannot be used during the combat phase depending on the equipment order even after acquiring the 'Horse Archer' proficiency, and this will be fixed in the future.
Fixed an issue to prevent using the 'Swap' proficiency skill on immobile targets.
Fixed a bug where damage increase values were duplicate-calculated and abnormally applied.
Fixed an issue where players could not use skills on themselves while on top of a watchtower.
Fixed a bug where the 'Restore Stamina on Evade' proficiency did not trigger.
Resolved an issue where bestowing knighthood did not proceed normally.
Fixed a bug where the character's name would reset every time customization was modified.
Fixed an issue where the health bar did not update in real-time.
Fixed an issue where loading a save file created while staying in a fief would not properly clear the stay status.
Fixed an issue where a Company would break/freeze if the merchant leading the caravan died.
Fixed a display error with the RNG correction system.
Fixed an issue where the RNG correction system was abnormally applied during the archery match.
