▣ Equipment Options Added

We have introduced slight changes to equipment options to resolve the issue of overly monotonous equipment choices.

  • Additional options have been applied to weapons, shields, armor, and horse armor.

  • Higher-tier equipment will grant higher stat values.

  • The reaction speed bonus during combat for certain weapons has been adjusted from 5 to 3.

  • We have mitigated the damage reduction penalty for certain early-game weapons that featured high accuracy but heavily reduced damage.

  • Applied a trait to daggers and certain weapons that imposes a penalty when used while mounted.

▣ Social & Marriage System Revamp

Interactions and conditions based on social status relationships have been more finely adjusted.

  • Stricter Social & Quest Restrictions: Socializing with nobles and accepting noble quests are now restricted until you acquire a Knight title. The requirement to accept noble quests is now set to Knight rank or higher.

  • Introduction of Commoner Interaction 'Share Tales of Valor': You can now perform 'Share Tales of Valor' instead of dueling with commoner characters to build rapport.

  • Marriage & Sworn Brotherhood Conditions Eased and Changed:

    • The age difference conditions for marriage and sworn brotherhood among AI characters have been relaxed to encourage more frequent relationship building within the world.

    • Characters in a captive state are now excluded from the relationship candidate list.

    • Removed the restriction that previously prevented marriage or sworn brotherhood with characters holding official positions.

    • Forming a marriage or sworn brotherhood will no longer immediately recruit the target character into the player's party.

▣ Recruitment System Added

  • Added a feature allowing you to attempt recruiting characters into your party instead of just forming relationships.

  • Once you build enough rapport, you can trigger a recruitment event to attempt to recruit them.

▣ Title System Revamp

  • Establishment of Title & House Systems: Revamped mechanisms so that each title unlocks various effects and actions that directly impact gameplay, such as increasing maximum battle capacity.

  • The position corresponding to 'Grand Duke' within the world has been removed, and the mechanism reflecting the number of castles required for granting noble titles has been partially modified.

  • Titles will now display the name of the affiliated kingdom, and player-configured custom Knight Order names will now apply correctly to the world.

▣ Level & Proficiency System Changes

  • Node Proficiency Talent System AddedA Proficiency Talent system has been introduced to add more individuality to characters.
  • Each Proficiency Talent grants bonus experience for that specific proficiency.

  • For each Proficiency Talent owned, the number of choices for Destiny Cards upon increasing proficiency increases by 1.

  • Several new proficiency categories have been added.

  • All proficiencies are now unique, and a selected proficiency option will not appear again.

  • Level-Up Stat Selection ReworkChanged the system from choosing an entire set of 3 random stats to selecting stats individually one by one, a total of 3 times. This allows players to directly choose their desired stats with a higher probability for focused growth.

▣ Save System Major Improvements

  • Introduction of Asynchronous SavingTo prevent the game screen from freezing momentarily during saving, the save mechanism has been completely transitioned to asynchronous. While asynchronous save/load is in progress, buttons are disabled, and a 'Saving...' tooltip and log will be displayed.
  • Expanded Auto-Save FeatureAuto-save slots have been separated and expanded to store up to 10 files. You can enable/disable auto-save in the options, and a new feature has been added to automatically save the game when a battle ends. (* Note: Auto-save does not trigger upon the very first launch of the game.)
  • Ironman Mode Stability Enhanced: Implemented synchronous saving when exiting the game in Ironman Mode to prevent save data loss.

▣ Game Balance & Optimization

We adjusted several systems to tone down the excessive early-game power of the main character, which made the early game too easy, and to align the balance with recruited mercenaries.

  • Base Stat Starting Values AdjustedThe starting values for Accuracy, Reaction Speed, Horsemanship, and Perception have been increased for all characters. Accordingly, item stat requirements and stat-conditional trait values have been readjusted based on these new starting baselines.
  • Background & Initial Perk Values Adjusted:

    • During character creation, the allocatable stat points for all backgrounds have been adjusted from 25 to 20, and the maximum allocatable points per stat have been limited from 10 to 8.

    • The starting base stats for all backgrounds have been uniformly reduced by 3.

    • Gladiator BackgroundStamina recovery value has been adjusted from 15 to 10, and the +5 primary stat bonus has been changed to +10 Accuracy. Additionally, the pre-existing hiring cost penalty has been completely removed.
    • Noble Bloodline BackgroundThe perk that increased battle party capacity by 4 in exchange for disabling reserves has been changed to a perk where all reserves participate in battle. The recommendation text in the background selection screen has been removed.
  • Combat & Balance Adjustments:

    • Base prisoner capture probability after combat has been increased to 20%.

    • The penalties for localized body part injuries were overly severe and have been generally toned down.

    • The stamina recovery proficiency value triggered upon killing an enemy has been nerfed from 15 to 12.

    • Stat variances between classes have been narrowed to create a more finely tuned baseline stat curve.

  • The unlock condition for buildings with restricted interactions within a fief has been changed to having a rapport of 80 or higher with the lord, or directly owning the fief.

  • System & Graphics OptimizationReduced overall load and enhanced performance through the application of illustration LOD1, Ultra Dynamic Sky texture optimization, and optimization of shop, outfit, and trait data.

▣ UI/UX Convenience & Bug Fixes

  • All tooltips have been color-coded to clearly distinguish between negative and positive stat effects.

  • Highlight Effect ImprovementsA highlight feature has been implemented for menu panel icons. Additionally, the issue where highlight images were forced to snap to pixels—causing choppy animations—has been disabled, allowing the visual effects to play much more smoothly.
  • Bug Fixes & Visibility Improvements:

    • Fixed an issue where relevant traits were not properly displayed in the list when swapping equipment in the inventory after loading a game.

    • Fixed errors in the equipment combat power calculation logic and certain equipment modifier errors.
